OIG Hotline, it seems clear that there is a desire for me not to advance my application for political asylum in Canada, and to receive reports in support of that application, given that my Notice to Return for Interview has a blank date, time and location, as seen in the attached screenshot, below.
Am I to be allowed safe harbor anywhere?
This appears to represent clearly illegal obstruction of my application, and it is not accompanied in time by any outreach whatsoever pertaining to my case.
This is alarming, in that, if I miss a scheduled interview, my application can be summarily canceled.
I have been deprived of legal advocacy regarding my application for asylum, so I need to navigate this process on my own, without any assurance of equitable or reasonable treatment.
If my asylum application is rejected due to a missed interview, presumably, the Trump Administration could take my life at will based on knowingly false accusations, whether in Canada or elsewhere. So, this is a concerning matter, to be sure.
Due to the seriousness of this situation, I am posting this documentation on my blog, as well as providing it to your Office via email.
Most sincerely,
Lane MacWilliams
