My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Patency of Ongoing Communication Routes to OIG Hotline; Request for Update

OIG Hotline, there has been a recent allegation that my email communications are not reaching your Office without at least partial or intermittent third-party obstruction.

May I please know whether the email of the OIG Hotline has been altered from oig.hotline@usdoj.gov, as has been suggested?  I would appreciate your update in this regard.

This communication is to reconfirm that you have my express permission to regularly access my gmail accounts, lanemacwilliams@gmail.com, as well as lanevonherzen@gmail.com and lanevonherzen1@gmail.com (both of which are often used for redundant documentation), in order to retrieve communications that are intended for your Office, commencing with the subject line specification "ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re:..."

In addition, I will endeavor to verify the presence of particular communications by placing their subject lines and date/time stamps here on my blog, so that no emails intended for your Office are missed.

It is my intention today to provide your Office with a PDF file of my most recent Will, dated, executed and fully enforceable under the laws of California on January 29, 2026.

Thank you for your perseverance in the face of apparent third-party interference in my attempts to provide you with critical communications.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
