My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

No Transfer

OIG Hotline, for your information, I have not transferred funds bearing my name, or a variation of my name, or associated with my identity in any way, shape or form, to anyone.

The FBI appears to allege that Txx Lxxxx and his associates have forged documents which transfer funds to one or both of my sons.

If so, these documents should be immediately disqualified and funds should be returned to accounts under my name and identity.

If, indeed, this attempt has been made by Txx Lxxxx and his associates, or by anyone else, it should be understood as an attempted theft from the effort to preserve Americans' human rights over the long term.

My family members have experienced torture as a direct result of my advocacy for the human rights of Americans over the long term, and their sovereignty and self-determination have been dramatically diminished as a result of these crimes.

Txx Lxxxx and his cohort should not be enabled to steal further from the good people of the United States in defense of whose long term rights I stand.  No one should wield the power to deprive the American public of its freedom in the long term.

If an attempt has been made to sequester funds through forged documentation, I would respectfully request that this be recorded in materials to be transferred to the Smithsonian Institution, so that the American public can have access in perpetuity to the facts of this case without limitation.

Thank you for your intervention in this matter.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
