My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Restricted Access: OIG Hotline Only -- Threats of Worldwide Food Supply Line Disruptions by the Far Right

OIG Hotline, I am in receipt of threats from the far right pertaining to intentional disruption of food supply lines exploiting current supply-chain vulnerabilities.

The following articles may assist others in assessing underlying elements contributing to food insecurity, partly due to follow-on effects from Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine.

Priority should be placed in communicating to the far right within the three-letter agencies that intentional disruptions in food transport and supply lines will not be tolerated.

Recent consolidations in the trucking industry within the United States should be assessed, given current vulnerabilities.  Pending consolidations should be discouraged, with support extended to companies which may impact food supply transport.

Further, aggregation of all recent and ongoing communications between the three-letter agencies and those companies with the most major impacts on food supply transport should be prioritized.

It is likely that assuming a proactive stance in this matter can ensure that intentional supply chain disruptions can be prevented.

I regret that there are those who appear to believe that such disruptions represent a reasonable alternative to the far right's accountability concerning broad-scale harms related to falsified law enforcement reporting within the United States and other democratic nations.

The fact that this appears to be the case only underscores the necessity of illuminating the far right's crimes against law-abiding Americans and peaceable civilians elsewhere.

The notarized affidavit below is attached to an email to lanemacwilliams@gmail.com, from the same address, with copies sent to lmacwilliams77419@gmail.com and lmacwilliams7417@gmail.com, with the subject heading "Affidavit for OIG Hotline Re: Threats of Worldwide Food Supply Disruptions by the Far Right," with a date stamp of August 16, 2023 at 3:15 PM.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
