My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

OIG Hotline, the FBI has alleged that the agency, with collusion from others, has stolen all funds awarded in my case to date.  I would like confirmation of total funds awarded in my case as of today, along with their location, please.

Thank you for your support in answering this important request on an immediate basis.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

In the Annals of American History: Documentation of a Kleptocracy

1.  What is your view regarding the allegation that all funds awarded to you due to FBI malfeasance were recently misappropriated by Tom Lyons, Brandan Pesa, and President Donald Trump?

Answer:  I do not have verification of these allegations, and certainly, I would hope they are false.  Have Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa committed extensive crimes against my loved ones and myself, in addition to perpetrating treasonous acts against the United States as a whole?  This appears to be the case, but again, due process is required to hold them accountable.

Funds awarded to me should not be misappropriated by anyone at this time, as I have claimed all of them lawfully and I have designated them for a foundation intended to defend the sovereignty of American citizens and the independence of the United States on which that sovereignty relies.

2.  What trust do you have that Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa would use your own funds appropriately?

Answer:  Zero.  These men are murderers and profiteers, acting as parasites off of the National Treasury in this instance.  They appear to have powerful loyalties to Vladimir Putin, not to our own country.

3.  What is your response to allegations that your whole family has been framed of crimes unknown to you through the exercise of the very falsified law enforcement reporting you have been advocating against for the last eight years?

Answer:  The President appears to have treated my sons and daughter-in-law as hostages to false witness statements, torturing them at every opportunity to coerce their signature on false allegations intended to allow the misappropriations of awards in my name.

The FBI terms this phenomenon "crabs in a sack," a situation in which the agency tries to turn family members against one another in a struggle for their own survival.

4.  To what extent are you vulnerable at this time to false reports coerced from your children by the authorization of President Trump?

Answer:  Without any ethics from our Commander in Chief at this time, we are extremely vulnerable.

5.  What is the likelihood that human sovereignty can survive Donald Trump's theft of trillions of dollars from this case?

Answer:  Unfortunately, there is no chance.  Unless this President can be held accountable for this theft and unless his misappropriations can be stopped and reversed, the American people will have no opportunity to regain their freedoms in the future.

6.  The FBI appears to allege that your family is now suffering various non-conventional deployments intended to take your lives.  What is your assessment of those threats?

Answer:  I spoke with a Pxxxxxx Program member in my apartment building last night -- Triddell from apartment #262 -- and gained quite a bit of information from him in the process.  On that basis alone, I would assess the FBI's threats of lethal aggression toward my loved ones and myself at this time to be quite real.

And we need to document this aggression as attempts at first degree murder, authorized by the President, for the purposes of his individual enrichment and aggregation of totalitarian power.

7.  The President seems to have authorized false reporting suggesting that you suffer from psychological illness or instability.

Answer:  That, and promiscuity, according to the FBI.  When you understand the extent to which these individuals despise women through advancing these misogynistic tropes of false reporting, you realize how much we need more women in government at every level.

8.  Do you now or have you ever suffered from mental illness?

Answer:  No, I do not.  And no, I have not.

9.  Do you now or have you ever taken medication for a psychiatric condition?

Answer:  No, I do not.  And no, I have not.

10.  How many intimate partners have you had over your lifetime, please, if you don't mind my asking?

Answer:  One.  My husband of the last thirty-five years.

11.  So, if your friends or relatives are being forced to provide false witness statements alleging contrary information, are they under threat to their health, their careers, their children, and their lives?

Answer:  Decidedly so, yes.  The FBI generally coerces these falsehoods by placing people under extreme duress.  I know they have done so to my two sons and daughter-in-law, my uncle and aunt, my brother -- the list goes on.

12.  What are the ongoing threats to the American public through the President's approval of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting by the FBI?

Answer:  Enormous.  The threats are profound, and they pertain to Americans' fundamental safety and security, now and in perpetuity.

13.  How would you characterize the loyalties of Tom Lyons, Brandan Pesa, and some within our own government to Russia over and above the concerns of our own nation?

Answer:  As treasonous.  There is no other way to characterize what these men have done to the country, and there is no other way to characterize what they intend to do.

Behind the intent to deconstruct the nation, the FBI claims, is the unacknowledged reality that we are facing a global climate crisis.  And this is certainly true.

But these individuals are making our circumstances immeasurably worse, and this collusion will continue to the great detriment of the whole world, frankly, unless we find a way to start speaking the truth about our circumstances.

14.  Is President Trump still authorizing the obstruction of justice pertaining to your name change petition at the Coconino County Superior Court?

Answer:  The FBI alleges that this is the case, yes.  I don't have my name change Order in my possession, and there has been ample time for the application to be reviewed.

The inserted falsifications to my application seem to be yet further examples of the FBI's determination to lie at every turn.

15.  Are there other examples of this?

Answer:  Myriad.  I had my dogs vaccinated for rabies the other day, and the FBI directed that their ages be falsified, that their breed be falsified, and that their color be described as "Black and Tan," in an apparent terrorist reference.

This is how extreme these people are.  They cannot tell the truth about anything, apparently.

16.  Brandan Pesa and Tom Lyons appear to boast that they are bribing judges at all levels of the judicial process pertaining to your case.  Do you have any comment on this claim?

Answer:  I think judges have come under extreme pressure from the FBI, unfortunately for all of us.  I would not say more for the simple reason that I don't think we help matters when the public pressures judges inappropriately.

Judges should not be under coercive influence of any kind.

And the FBI needs to be prohibited from speaking to judges, false reporting in hand, to control judicial outcomes.

17.  What are your thoughts about the most notable risks for the United States at this time?

Answer:  Other than the theft of trillions of dollars from my case by Tom Lyons, Brandan Pesa, and Donald Trump?

We face risks of significant destabilization of the power grid in the United States, by multiple means.

18.  Destabilization planned by the enemies of the United States?

Answer:  Oh, yes.  Planned efforts to shut off the power.

19.  With the foreknowledge of the President?

Answer:  With the foreknowledge of the President.

20.  How do you view these plans?

Answer:  As historic cowardice, malfeasance, and treason.  I don't think there is any other way to view them.

21.  How will the FBI attempt to explain power disruptions to the American public through propaganda disseminated to the press?

Answer:  As the fault of malevolent foreign adversaries.

22.  How will history view Donald Trump's conduct toward the country?

Answer:  My documentation is being fully aggregated at this time, so I hope American history will view his conduct truthfully.

23.  What about President Trump's alleged directives to the DOJ to destroy your records?

Answer:  The truth is a stubborn taskmaster.  My documentation will, in fact, serve to hold the President to a full accounting of his conduct before the American people.

24.  To be clear, you have had no contact with anyone regarding your case to date, despite the Supreme Court's directive that outreach be extended to you?

Answer:  That is correct.  The Supreme Court appears to have been resolutely ignored by President Trump in this matter.

25.  Is that criminal conduct in and of itself?

Answer:  Most assuredly, it is.

26.  Will the American public be inclined to forgive President Trump for their gratuitous suffering under his leadership?

Answer:  The American public is very fair minded in their judgement of whether public officials are acting from the right motives.

The public trust, once lost, cannot be readily regained.

So, our public officials need to understand the public trust as a gift that can be withdrawn, and quite severely so, when its vestiture has been abused.

27.  You sound deeply disappointed by Tom Lyons, Brandan Pesa and Donald Trump at this juncture.

Answer:  I think the nation would be right to be deeply disappointed in these men.  Worthy leadership requires great fortitude and character, and these qualities are nowhere to be found in these three individuals.

The nation is being poorly served by every initiative these three people take.

Our recourse is to speak the truth about their gratuitous and unjustifiable crimes, now and forever.

28.  Will you please keep in close contact with us, given these extraordinary events?

Answer:  Assuming my access to the internet is preserved, yes, of course.  I think the American public deserves a detailed explanation about this matter, and so do I.

29.  Will your health and that of your loved ones now be restored after the allegations of grievous harm perpetrated against you by those who are seeking to profiteer from this case?

Answer:  I think Brandan Pesa, Tom Lyons, and President Trump will need to answer that question, and most urgently.

30.  What qualifies an individual as a worthy leader?

Answer:  As Plato documented regarding Socrates' words, a worthy leader is defined by wisdom, courage, a love of justice, and temperance.

We need to elevate those who demonstrate those qualities, and we need to politely escort out of public influence all those who are lacking them.

31.  Thank you for speaking with us this afternoon.

Answer:  You are most welcome.

The Path to Overcome Obstacles to Americans' Long Term Sovereignty

1.  You are not making political donations since you designated funds for a foundation which will support the sovereignty of Americans and our nation as a whole.  Is that correct?

Answer:  Yes, it is.

2.  Have you been asked recently to change political parties?

Answer:  There are those who are asking me to register as an independent, because guiding the foundation will require impartiality.

However, I feel that my advocacy for Americans' voting rights, freedom of speech, freedom of the press insofar as possible, right to privacy, right to private property, and more apply to all Americans, not merely a few.

In other words, I don't invest my work with bias.  I have made a promise to advocate for the long term human rights of all Americans, and I take that commitment with the utmost seriousness.

3.  So, you are not inclined to change political parties at this time?

Answer:  I think my commitment to serve all Americans is foremost in guiding my decision-making.  So, I don't think superficial changes in my affiliations are necessary.  I have very dear friends from across the political spectrum, and I view the full breadth of Americans' views with the same respect and interest.

4.  How do you respond to the FBI's allegations that there is a renewed investigation into ActBlue in the context of your case?

Answer:  I have not donated through ActBlue in a long while.  So, I do not believe any investigative review of ActBlue has merit with regard to my case.

A better question is whether we want to support the FBI in directing the decision-making pertaining to political fundraising activities in the United States, and I think the answer there is a resounding no.

5.  Who is supporting your efforts at this time?

Answer:  I think there are many on both sides of the aisle who are supporting my decision to establish a foundation to defend American sovereignty.  This is not a partisan issue.

We as a nation are faced with some astonishingly complex challenges at this moment in our history, and many of those difficulties are going to require innovative and adaptive problem solving on a higher level of human capabilities.

That means we need to be able to address our most serious risks with great wisdom, courage, creativity, adaptability, community-building, leadership, insight and engagement.

6.  Should the foundation facilitate that engagement?

Answer:  In every way.  Yes.

7.  Will efforts to obstruct the foundation be overcome?

Answer:  There is such recognition of the need for the foundation from all parts of the political spectrum, I believe any and all objections to the foundation will be surmounted, yes.

8.  Does the matter of the FBI's knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting need to be addressed by the foundation at some point?

Answer:  Falsified law enforcement reporting represents a threat to Americans' long term sovereignty, so, yes, this is going to be a critical issue for our shared future.

9.  You have mentioned adaptability several times recently.  How can Americans view adaptability in the context of their own individual lives in a way that might assist them in the near term?

Answer:  The U.S. Marine Corps guides its troops with the recommendation to "Improvise. Adapt. Overcome"

Changing circumstances are never met with perfect preparation, so we need to ensure that our perspective allows us to be ready for unexpected challenges.

This is a mindset that we will all benefit from.

10. What is at stake for us with regard to Americans' sovereignty?

Answer:  Every word that ever changed us, every song that ever moved us, every class that ever grew us, every thought that ever advanced us, every epiphany that ever enlightened us, every discovery that ever broadened us, every expression of faith that ever elevated us, every vote that ever empowered us, every gift that ever uplifted us, and every love for another person that helped us to transcend ourselves.

If we want to ensure that our self-determination remains our own individual and dignified right, then we need to defend our sovereignty with our greatest insistence.

10.  Will you be extending further thoughts about the challenges ahead?

Answer: As much as possible, yes.

11.  Thank you for speaking with us this afternoon.

Answer:  You are most welcome.

A Foundation for the Ages

 1.  What are the potential impediments to conserving funds awarded to you to date in a foundation as you have specified earlier today?

Answer:  The biggest impediment that I can perceive is that the FBI appears to be directing falsifications of my name change application at the Coconino County Superior Court.  When I checked on Wednesday of this week to ensure that all was in order, the Court Clerk, Diana Morales, discovered that my middle name and my first name at birth had been transposed.  So, instead of Carol Elaine, it was Elaine Carol.

2.  Would your name change application have been approved with that inserted error?

Answer:  No, it would not.

And now the FBI alleges that intentional misspellings have been inserted into the application at agency directive.

3.  Can you see the application online?

Answer:  I can see that it exists, but I am not being allowed to access the file as it currently stands.  So, I cannot check for errors and omissions, a problem which I'm sure is intentional.  And, interestingly, the file comes up under the correct spelling and name on my birth certificate, so it is clear that errors are being inserted after the fact within the Court Clerk's Office at the directive of an outside authority.

4.  Are there other errors and omissions?

Answer:  It seems that my passport documentation is intentionally being withheld from the case information by the Court Clerks, despite my repeated requests that it be included.  But there could be an infinite number of other errors.  My mailing address could have been falsified .  My social security number could have been falsified.  On and on.

5.  What is the greatest risk with the FBI's corrupting your application in this manner?

Answer: The greatest risk is that the FBI will wrongfully claim that my application is fraudulent on the basis of uncorrected errors for which the FBI itself is entirely responsible.  A knowingly fraudulent filing with any court is no doubt a felony, which would allow the FBI to achieve its goal of misappropriating all awards in my name or associated with my identity.

6.  So the whole purpose of the FBI's falsifying your name change application is the misappropriation of financial awards extended to you because of the FBI's prior crimes against you?

Answer:  This would appear to be the case, yes.

7.  Who is responsible for this malfeasance?  Who is authorizing it?

Answer:  An authorization such as this would need to come from the Executive Branch.

8.  Yet, if this scheme were to be successfully perpetrated, this would amount to criminal malfeasance, would it not?  And it would, in and of itself, represent fraudulent FBI conduct, would it not?

Answer:  Yes, and yes.

9. Will you be able to thwart this plan of misconduct by the agency and its close affiliates?

Answer:  I would hope that this conversation would effectively thwart any such approach, yes.  Obviously, my application to legally change my name to my married name should be approved without delay, misrepresentation, or defamation of any kind.

I have communicated all information at my disposal to the Superior Court, and this documentation should be immediately incorporated and the file updated accordingly.

10.  How long should it take for the Coconino Superior Court to approve your name change?

Answer:  Four to ten working days, and we're already five working days into that schedule.

11.  Have you offered to speak to the presiding judge regarding your case?

Answer:  Yes, of course.

12.  So, the real problem is obstruction by the FBI, not any obstacles that are being independently introduced by Court personnel without FBI guidance.

Answer:  That is correct.

13.  What made you decide to dedicate all funds awarded to you to date, aside from those you have already designated to certain causes, to a foundation?

Answer:  You know, I was waiting and hoping for outreach of an honorable kind, which would have been best.  The crimes against my family and myself have been so egregious that I have very much wanted a formal acknowledgment of those wrongs, and, along with that, an extensive apology.

Finally, I realized that that necessary and overdue apology was never going to come.

And, I must say, I have been in a situation like this once before in my life -- where an apology was due to me right at the moment that extraordinary new demands were being made of me.  And then, as now, I realized that I was never going to hear the words I needed to hear.  And this, for those who are curious, related to an issue of alcoholism -- which is not an issue from which I have ever suffered, thankfully.

14.  How did you respond when you realized the apology would not be forthcoming?

Answer:  There was deep and indelible disappointment, I must say.  And it's important to allow yourself to acknowledge how difficult that territory is.  It's important to grieve the conversation that was not rendered possible.

Then, after that, you have to decide what you're going to do about it.

15.  May I ask you to be more specific?

Answer:  You need to ask yourself what is the greatest good that can possibly come from the situation and then you need to assess whether you are strong enough to manifest that greatest good.

16.  To what extent does the greatest good depend on the strength of one's character?

Answer:  One hundred percent.  If you have the highest character possible, you are capable of manifesting the greatest good.  You just have to comprehend that unassailable path forward.

17.  Is your choice to place funds awarded to you in this case to date a manifestation of that greatest good?

Answer:  Yes, because without the defense offered by a foundation's legal shield, the funds will be stolen fairly promptly.  And this much has become all too clear.

The funds are intended for the preservation of Americans' sovereignty and the independence of the nation on which that sovereignty depends. If they are misappropriated by those who oppose human sovereignty, then we will have placed the American public in a terrible position going forward -- one in which their freedoms cannot be realistically defended because the vast wealth of a few individuals has rendered profiteers considerably more powerful than the United States itself.

The future of American sovereignty must be assiduously defended, and that's what the structure of a foundation will provide.

18.  Are you depending on the DOJ's OIG Hotline to establish this foundation at your request?

Answer:  Yes, I am.  And I hope it will be a foundation for the ages.

19.  And are you depending on them to ensure that all legal requirements of the foundation will be upheld in the future?

Answer:  Yes, I will need that legal due diligence through time.

20.  Are you hoping that outreach will follow this decision of the funds' allocation?

Answer:  I always believe that the greatest good can be achieved with optimal communication, so yes, of course, I hope for outreach.

21.  Will the OIG Hotline be able to move forward rapidly with this request on your behalf?

Answer:  I have every confidence that they will, yes.

22.  Will you please keep in close communication with us, given the current threats to your safety and that of your loved ones?

Answer:  Yes, of course.

23.  Thank you for speaking with us this evening.

Answer:  You are most welcome.

Lane MacWilliams

Formal Claim of All Awards Extended to Me

To the OIG Hotline of the U.S. DOJ, this letter is to formally claim all awards that have been extended in my name and/or associated with my identity and/or social security number as of this writing.  This is to include my maiden name, Carol Elaine Von Herzen, and misspellings of my maiden name, my author name, Lane von Herzen, and misspellings of my author name, and my married name, Lane MacWilliams, and misspellings of my married name.

Due to apparent repeated attempts to misappropriate these funds, please place them in a foundation at your earliest opportunity, thus protecting them from invasion by those who may seek to personally profiteer from this case.

If government agencies or current or former government officials have facilitated the hacking or invasion of my accounts in order to misappropriate funds awarded to me, I ask that those funds be assertively re-appropriated and replaced.

Please allow me to make designations on behalf of specific causes for the support of Americans' long term sovereignty, and the sovereignty of the nation as a whole, from this umbrella foundation.

I ask that any funds that have been wrongfully withdrawn be reimbursed to my account under the auspices of the foundation at the earliest possible time.

Please ensure that my direct participation is required for designations of funds from the foundation in every circumstance, unless I myself broaden that responsibility at a later time through notarized documentation which I would place on this blog and elsewhere for public review.  And please disallow impersonation of my identity through genetic manipulation or other unapproved assumptions of my identity.

Please engage in direct outreach to me to ensure that I can be of the greatest support to the nation at this most critical time in the struggle for the human sovereignty of the American people, the territorial integrity of our national provenance over the United States and associated waters, and the future independence our nation in its entirety.

Thank you for your support in this most critical effort.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

An Open Letter to President Trump

Dear Mr. President:

My sons and daughter-in-law are currently suffering because of the manner in which their handlers are causing them targeted and unrelenting harm, the specifics of which I have previously described.

In the interests of forward progress, please insist that these agency assaults cease immediately, Sir.  Certainly, Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa have a central role to play in insisting on this cessation alongside you.

I do recognize that A. is placing pressure on our government with regard to his desire to misappropriate funds that have been awarded to me as the result of FBI malfeasance pertaining to my case.

Yet A. needs to wait.

Funds awarded to me must be returned to my account.  Their intent is the preservation of the sovereignty of the United States, not its irreversible undoing.

A., despite his remarkable abilities, is not God.

And this is clear to us all, because God does not take hostages as extortion for vast sums from the United States National Treasury.

If A. will answer to no one else, he will answer to me.

And I say, as the mother to two beloved sons, and to a cherished daughter-in-law, A. must now relent or face his exposure to the American public as a whole -- a step for which I daresay, he is not quite prepared.

President Trump, please assist me in holding the line on this requirement.

No nation can thrive when it takes its most promising and beloved youth hostage on behalf of an unjust external dictatorship.

Thank you for your support, Sir, regarding this most critical concern.

Sincerely yours,

Lane MacWilliams

What Were Tom Lyons' Crimes Against the Property of a Human Rights Advocate?

 1.  Let's turn to the subject of the crimes Tom Lyons directed toward your property on Cape Cod, please.

Answer:  Please go ahead.

2.  What information did the FBI provide to you regarding this issue?

Answer:  The FBI appeared to send me a lot of material about a "house of horrors," a house in which the deceased were concealed or buried, a house in which capital crimes had taken place, in addition to a lot of suggestions of "framing," corrupt law enforcement, falsified law enforcement reporting, manipulation of DNA evidence, and concealed court proceedings.

3.  Over how long a period of time were you receiving these apparent allegations?

Answer:  For years, it seemed to me.  I found all of these allegations to be deeply upsetting, and I reported them regularly to the OIG Hotline for documentation purposes.

4.  One winter several years ago, you traveled to your family home on Cape Cod in order to check on the property.  Is that correct?

Answer:  I have a fiduciary duty to manage the property, despite the extraordinary obstacles created by the FBI.  So I traveled to Cape Cod in January of 2025 to assess the observable condition of the house and land.

5.  What did you find?

Answer:  It was quite cold, because the heat was turned off for the winter at that time, but I was alarmed upon entering the house.

6.  May I ask why?

Answer:  I remember that I reported to the OIG Hotline that the house smelled like a morgue.  And I have never been in a morgue.  But, on crossing the threshold, there was an immediate revulsion and nausea.  This is an instinctive response -- not a learned one.  I felt that there was something very, very wrong, and I immediately reached out the OIG Hotline about my impressions, requesting an investigation.

7.  Did you also request information from the local police department and the local District Attorney?

Answer:  Several times, yes.

8.  And were you provided with any material regarding your home or your family?

Answer:  No, I received nothing.  At one point, I brought a dozen donuts to the Falmouth Police Department, together with my written request for information, and several officers appeared to be hiding in a darkened office behind the reception area. It seemed like exceptionally strange behavior from my point of view.

But I was denied all access to any information regarding my property, my family members or myself.

9. Did you make yourself available for a dialogue with law enforcement?

Answer:  Absolutely, yes.  I would have loved to have spoken with them directly about my concerns.

Later that winter, I traveled to Washington, D.C. to make myself available to the DOJ for direct meetings regarding my case, including my concerns about my home on Cape Cod.  In addition, I wanted to ensure that a conveyance of case material could be rendered unobstructed by my presence within Washington, D.C.

10. What happened?

Answer:  Nothing.  I received no response.

I did have my life directly threatened by two men on the seventh floor of the Hilton on Connecticut Avenue.

And I was drugged by contaminated food that was served to me at the Hamilton restaurant in D.C.

So, I came away with the impression that Washington, D.C. was an exceptionally dangerous place for good people.

The town seemed to be crawling with corrupt intelligence personnel.

And I received no honest engagement whatsoever.

11.  What were your impressions based on your outreach to all offices involved?

Answer:  I don't want to leave out that I also asked for direct communication from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, and was met with silence there, as well.

What were my impressions?  My impressions were and are that falsified law enforcement reporting is a big, big racket within the United States at this time.  I feel that all of these officials knew perfectly well that there had been FBI malfeasance at my property, perhaps both  of my properties, and they were dodging any direct dialogue with me that would render them accountable to disclose these crimes on the part of the FBI and its affiliates.

Meanwhile, my life was under threat the entire time.

Honestly, I look back at my communications to all of these offices, at my travel that was intended to make decisive progress regarding my case, at my striving on every front -- and I think "That woman has astonishing courage!"

Truly, the record of my efforts is rather superhuman.

12.  Given your superhuman efforts, what do you think of the allegation that the issue of the crimes Tom Lyons directed against your properties is only now being adjudicated for the first time?

Answer:  Well, it shows you how dangerous the situation has become for the honorable public.  Have I been asked to give testimony regarding any of these events?  No.  Not one gesture of outreach.

Meanwhile, I am supposedly on trial for my life for crimes for which Tom Lyons, Brandan Pesa and their FBI cohort are entirely responsible.

13.  Do Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa have immunity from criminal prosecution regarding the crimes they directed?

Answer:  I think it's clear that they exceeded the boundaries of that legal immunity.

Do they have a degree of immunity from prosecution?  Yes.

But these abuses are so extraordinary that I think it's possible that immunity could be invalidated.

14.  Why are you so determined to speak publicly about this matter at this time?

Answer:  Because these men are still allegedly lying about my honor and lawfulness in a court setting in which I have no opportunity for rebuttal.

To write about the conduct of these men, by name, on a daily basis, is the only way in which I can defend my virtue and my integrity.

15.  Will you continue to do so until your requirements for resolution of this matter are met to your standards and satisfaction?

Answer:  Yes, I will.

16.  What about the argument that these men would prefer not to be publicly exposed?

Answer:  And I would prefer not to be falsely accused of crimes of which I have no knowledge whatsoever.

Mine is the greater need.

17.  How do you respond to allegations that Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa, after having wrongfully conscripted your younger son into the Pxxxxxx Program, criminally directed him to perpetrate acts which were intended from the very beginning to frame you of serious crimes?

Answer:  I know my sons, both of them, exceptionally well.  I raised them myself with infinite honor, respect, love, faith, wisdom, engagement, and kindness.  And I know they both would have died before harming another person prior to being tortured by the FBI and its affiliates.

The FBI assailed both of them with repeated sovereignty violations in the form of fade deployments in addition to torture, and the annihilation of personal boundaries that can result from such aggression needs to be fully understood if human sovereignty is to endure in any meaningful form whatsoever.

Do I believe that Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa directed a long series of criminal acts in a long term plan to destroy my entire family?  Absolutely.  That much is patently clear.  And we also need to understand that they intended to profiteer from that criminal sequence.

18.  What should happen to Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa at this juncture?

Answer:  A lot of the problems we face in failed societies is the result of a lack of accountability.  So the first requirement is for Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa to acknowledge their crimes to a court of law.

While I have been deprived of direct legal representation in every setting, these men have armies of lawyers at their disposal.

They should avail themselves of this advocacy and they should admit their crimes against my family.

At least that would give us a starting point for dialogue through an intermediary, which obviously needs to occur.

19.  What should happen to the funds these men have misappropriated from your account over time?

Answer:  All of it should be re-appropriated from these men's assets and returned to my account and then some.  These men should literally be in debt to me for the rest of their lives, which I hope are long, so they can think about what they've done.

There are laws which disallow profiteering by predators.  They need to be enforced in this case.

20.  What about the additional civil liability these men have incurred to you?  And what about the additional civil liability of the FBI and its affiliate agencies, which assisted these men in their criminal acts?

Answer:  This needs to be carefully assessed, certainly, and I need to be directly involved in those discussions, because there are many components of that liability which are not delineated here.

But it is fair to say that the prolonged malice and predation involved in these events is extraordinarily severe, cruel, and malevolent.  And I think that the civil liabilities incurred with regard to the FBI's crimes against my properties, and the crimes against my family pertaining to this particular scheme, should dwarf many other aspects of this case in terms of liability.

21.  Once a liability is awarded to you, should the FBI and its affiliates be able to come along later and misappropriate those funds?

Answer:  Never.  It should never happen.  The FBI and its affiliates are opposed to human sovereignty and the sovereignty of the United States as a whole.  No one should be able to come along after the fact and demand payment from awards of which I have not been formally informed.

I cannot take my dogs for a walk without the FBI's wrongfully claiming that they harmed someone or threatened someone.

So, this graft needs to stop and the DOJ needs to insist that it stop.

Awards extended to me should not be available for anybody to co-opt later on.

Awards should be formally conveyed to me and then I should be allowed to designate funds for critical support of the sovereignty of the United States and our people.  No one should be standing in the way of that.

22.  The funds these men have misappropriated have rendered them substantially more powerful than they were at the outset of this case, haven't they?

Answer:  Unquestionably so, and that's why these men's crimes now need to ensure their impoverishment.  If Americans' future sovereignty is going to have a chance, then opponents of the independence of the United States must not become wealthy nation-states unto themselves.

23.  It is reported that Tom Lyons has tried to weasel his way out of accountability for his crimes in this matter by wrongfully alleging that your parents were violent criminals.  How do you feel about that attempt?

Answer:  As George Orwell said, "Who controls the past controls the future."  When we abandon the truth of our honorable and virtuous parents, we abandon all hope for a worthy future as well.

History cannot be a creative writing exercise for criminals evading accountability.

We are required to face the past honorably and truthfully if we hope that our worthy national character will be preserved through time.

Tom Lyons needs to be sharply rebuked for all of these attempts, and so does the FBI as a whole.

24.  Will the Smithsonian Institution one day provide all of your writings for the American public to assess independent of governmental restrictions and censorship?

Answer:  In the absence of my actively and directly curating that material, I certainly hope so.

25.  Will you continue to speak about these issues for the time being?

Answer:  I will continue to speak about these concerns until and unless I receive satisfactory resolution of this case to date to my standards and satisfaction, yes.

26.  Thank you for speaking with us this afternoon.

Answer:  You are most welcome.

When Predators Toward the Nation Are Unmasked

 1.  Your navigation systems continue to divert you to unwanted routes and destinations, whether through Google Maps or your MB navigation system.  Is that correct?

Answer:  This does continue to occur, yes.  I recently asked my MB navigator to route me to the closest Home Depot, and a voice stated that I would be traveling on dirt roads into a restricted area.

I immediately used my iPhone's Google Maps and was routed via major roads to a nearby Home Depot with no difficulty.

Yesterday, I was routed home to my apartment from the Coconino Superior Court via a very circuitous route through Google Maps.

So, all of these incidents represent substantive risks.

2.  Risks of what, primarily?

Answer:  Kidnapping, sniper assaults, staged car accidents, false reporting, falsified communications, on and on.

My VPN on both my computer and my cell phone is often disabled by a third party, thus facilitating piggybacking on my IP address.  So, this is quite dangerous all by itself.

3.  The FBI appears to be warning you to leave Aura Apartments at this time.  Do you have any idea why?

Answer:  A FedEx delivery to me appears to have been stolen from the mail room yesterday, if FedEx's documentation is to be believed.

And my dogs appear to have been poisoned yesterday, through means unknown to me.

In addition, the FBI seems to allege that Tom Lyons is still persisting in his lies regarding his crimes connected to my properties.  So, he may be planning to plant false evidence of parallel crimes at my apartment.

This morning, I raised the window shade to find that a clear handprint had been placed on the inside of the window glass.

4.  You had not placed the handprint there?

Answer:  Absolutely not.

5.  What other FBI threats are you facing currently?

Answer:  The FBI appears to have deleted my passport information from my court filing yesterday in Coconino County, Arizona.  So, that needs to be corrected.

And yesterday evening, corresponding to unusual threats of "mauling," I was stalked at Ponderosa Trails Park by a man with a German Shepherd.

I have been warned not to use my furnace at my apartment, nor the bathroom fan.

And threats of DEW deployment appear to be ongoing.

6.  Have you received any information from the Arizona Attorney General's Office other than an initial email confirming receipt of your Arizona Public Information Act request?

Answer:  No, I have not yet received any further communication.

7.  Is it possible that the missing FedEx package originated with their Office?

Answer:  Of course, yes, this is possible.

8. Would you hope that any missing mailing would be immediately replaced?

Answer:  Most decidedly, yes.

9.  Do you anticipate that Tom Lyons will stop extending disinformation about your family and your properties?

Answer:  No, I don't think Tom Lyons has left himself an out with regard to this particular scheme on his part.  I think his career will be finished if he acknowledges what he did, and I think his freedom will be imperiled as well.

10.  What alternative does the FBI have?

Answer:  The financial penalty to Tom Lyons for his crimes against my properties, and related crimes against my family, should total more than his misappropriations over the entire course of this case.  In other words, the man needs to be in serious debt to me in perpetuity, because this represents the unconscionable malice he expressed toward my family over time, with careful and meticulous planning.

11.  Tom Lyons should be impoverished in a civil context if he cannot be imprisoned in a criminal context.

Answer:  Both would be most appropriate, but yes.

12.  You still need investigative reports in order to assess even a portion of Tom Lyons' crimes against your family.  Isn't that so?

Answer:  Yes, it is.

13.  What can be done to ensure that Tom Lyons is now stopped in his predatory false reporting against your family members and yourself?

Answer:  I will be writing about him daily until this matter is resolved to my standards and my satisfaction.

14.  What about the fact that Tom Lyons and the FBI are, in many respects, responsible for holding your children hostage to their demands for false witness statements about your family?

Answer:  The FBI is holding my children hostage in many regards, not regarding false witness statements alone.  And they are also threatening my other family members with job loss and physical harm if they don't comply with wrongful directives.

15.  What is your recourse?

Answer:  Again, I will be making sure that Tom Lyons and his close friends leave an infamous legacy for the American people to contemplate when regarding the facts of this individual's conduct against my family, and in a larger context, his treasonous conduct toward the United States as well.

And I will be doing that by writing about these individuals' actions daily until and unless I receive acknowledgement of Tom Lyons' lies and predatory acts.

16.  These individuals apparently dislike being exposed to public censure.

Answer:  They should have thought of that before they assailed my family and myself.

And I would like to make clear that I am not referring to those who have suffered sovereignty violations regarding this case.

Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa suffered no fade deployments.  They were directing the fade deployments against others in the exercise of their free will and independent decision-making.

17.  These FBI personnel keep suggesting your "retirement."

Answer:  That's not going to happen until and unless my standards are met regarding the resolution of this matter.

Usually, when the FBI suggests a person's "retirement," that is a euphemism for the agency's murder of the individual, in any case.

If Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa don't want to be further exposed publicly, they need to facilitate the provision to me of investigative reports regarding my case, along with outreach from an honorable -- that means non-violent, for those who don't know any better -- intermediary.

18.  What is your understanding of the crimes Tom Lyons directed regarding your properties?

Answer:  I only know what the FBI has appeared to disclose, together with my own observations when I visited my Cape Cod property in the winter several years ago.

19.  Are you able to disclose the FBI's allegations about Tom Lyons' crimes?

Answer:  That will require a dedicated conversation, but yes, I think the time has come for the FBI's allegations of Tom Lyons' crimes to be rendered public.

20.  In the meantime, will you keep in close contact with us, given the FBI's apparent allegation that you are now "dueling" with Tom Lyons and Brandan Pesa, two of the most dangerous criminals affiliated with the United States intelligence agencies?

Answer:  The analogy of a "duel" seems patently unfair, because these two men are attacking my character and that of my family behind the scenes.  Liars never have the courage to stand in the open, because they know they will be unmasked there.

But yes, of course, I will remain in close contact.

21.  Thank you for speaking with us this morning.

Answer:  You are most welcome.

Coconino Superior Court Filing, May 4, 2026

OIG Hotline, I would redact proper names below, except for the fact that it is possible that I am still being accused by the FBI and its affiliates of malfeasance of which I have no knowledge.  Under such circumstances, and without investigative reports or contact from an honorable intermediary, the risks are simply too great for me to remain silent about the identities of the individuals who have committed the most egregious wrongs concerning this case.

If immediate and honorable outreach occurs, and if my court filing is respectfully and appropriately handled, then and only then, my filings can be removed from my blog, not before.

Accompanying my petition was a copy of my lease, my diriver's license, my social security card, my birth certificate, my marriage certificate, documentation from my husband, and limited real estate POA's, along with general background concerning my parents, children, husband, birth place, birth date, known assets, etc.  The inclusion of my passport appears to have been wrongfully obstructed, so I will need to add it to my petition as soon as possible.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

 May 4, 2026

To the Honorable Judge assigned to preside over my request to change my name from Carol Elaine Von Herzen to Lane MacWilliams:

I am a current resident of Coconino County, Arizona, as you see from my materials included herewith.

It is important that you know that I am a human rights advocate in a federal case pertaining to the FBI’s commission of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting against the law-abiding American public.  This case has been, and continues to be, adjudicated before the Supreme Court with the support of the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. Department of Justice.

I have assiduously and continuously sought complete documentation of corrupt law enforcement’s perpetration of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting through Freedom of Information Act requests and state public information act requests, and have been provided with some interesting proofs of this apparently wide-scale problem.

Through a provision of documents required of the FBI from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence several years ago, I learned that a corrupt local Sheriff’s Deputy, Rick Chaput, in San Mateo County, California, where I lived at the time, took a stalking report from my husband and myself only to proceed to refer me – unbeknownst to me or any of my family members – to “Adult Protective Services,” apparently with the intention of justifying extensive and ongoing surveillance of my entire family and myself.

Later, when I spoke to an employee of a women’s shelter in Sacramento in the course of my research on this issue, she disclosed to me that many women in California were denied requests for information about stalking complaints through the Freedom of Information Act and the California Public Records Act.

In other words, it appeared that there was a pattern of local law enforcement within California withholding public information requested by stalking victims – and whether these women were suffering stalking from law enforcement affiliates is unclear – and further, in speaking to women’s shelter staffing, it appeared that many of these women believed that they were being improperly surveilled as part of this problem.

Were many of them being referred to Adult Protective Services with false statements from law enforcement questioning their mental health, as apparently had occurred in my case?

This appears to be a distinct possibility, given that the vast majority of my requests for information through the Freedom of Information Act, as well as an international background check I ran (at a cost of several thousand dollars), including a fingerprint scan, addressing any and all records within the United States and other countries to which I had traveled (Canada, France, Portugal, Zimbabwe, and Zaire) were returned to me as blank.

As part of this quest, I should disclose that several years ago, a corrupt FBI official named Tom Lyons apparently tried to force me to sell my family home on Cape Cod. Allegedly the FBI skims several percentage points off the realtors’ commissions in forced sales of the properties of “targets of interest,” and this scheme is treated as a kind of “profit-sharing” sideline within the agency.

If I refused to sell, Tom Lyons appeared to threaten to drive the value of my home to zero through undisclosed means.  (It was unclear whether my main residence in San Mateo County, California was also included in this apparent threat.)

I did refuse to sell, and, subsequently, appeared to receive threats that my family home on Cape Cod had been treated as a staged crime scene of some kind by the FBI, with Tom Lyons leading all crimes related to this conduct.  Falsified DNA evidence was reported to be part of this staging, though I have received no verified communication regarding this issue.

I have received myriad apparent threats regarding the matter of the saleability of both of my homes due to reported predatory acts directed by Tom Lyons, along with his reported close affiliate in Russian organized crime, a man named Brandan Pesa.

And, as it happens, my husband now wishes to sell our Portola Valley (San Mateo County, CA) home and to assist with the sale of my family’s Cape Cod property at this time. (My own personal view is that the attempt to list and sell one or both of our properties should force the hand of the FBI to reveal any and all false accusations regarding these homes and their affiliated land.  So, I am now in favor of this development.  Please note that, as Tom Lyons appears to have been recently cornered on this issue, he is alleged to be casting false blame for serious crimes upon my virtuous and honorable parents, now deceased, Janice Elaine Von Herzen and Richard Pierre Von Herzen.  They are not here to defend themselves, so I continue to defend their laudable character and integrity throughout their lifetimes.)

At this point, I have taken on the role of advocating for the long term human rights of all Americans, because it has been alleged that the U.S. DOJ has extended very large sums as awards against FBI malfeasance in my case.

The problem seems to be that false accusations are regularly filed against me in a concealed manner, and misappropriations are regularly drawn from accounts in my name, thus perpetuating a process of significant graft by certain top government officials.

For the record, I have difficulty taking my dogs for a walk without being besieged by “witnesses” who are alleged to later file false claims about the lawfulness of my communications, my cell phone screen, whether my dogs are aggressive (definitely not), and more.

Often, false reports are alleged to pertain to the well-worn misogynistic tropes of mental instability and promiscuity.  (Female targets of interest are alleged to be delusional, lacking the capacity for self-care, a danger to the public, and voraciously sexualized and predatory toward others, including minors.)

For your own knowledge, I do not suffer and have never suffered from mental illness. I happen to have had only one intimate partner over my lifetime, that of my husband of thirty-five years.  I own no weapons, although I do use kitchen utensils while cooking in the kitchen.  I have threatened no one and I never will threaten anyone.  I am protective toward others, both vulnerable and hearty members of the public, respecting others’ human rights at all times and in all settings.  And I am an entirely peaceable, honorable, and law-abiding person.

I am undertaking this request for a name change because it has been alleged that the current Executive Branch intends to direct the misappropriation of all awards in this case through the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. Department of Justice on the basis of the discrepancy between my birth certificate, which reads Carol Elaine Von Herzen, and my current identification (driver’s license, passport, social security card, etc.) which reads Lane MacWilliams.

So, I would like to have a court order that renders my name, Lane MacWilliams, official, in order to protect my human rights advocacy and the support for the American public that I intend to continue to render.

As part of this name change application, there is a question about whether I have ever been accused of a felony or convicted of a felony.  I have no proof that either has occurred, but I suspect that my case at the federal level has been exploited for the profiteering of top elected officials for a prolonged period of time, to include knowingly false accusations followed by presumed exoneration on an ongoing basis.

For your additional information, my husband is alleged by the FBI to have been falsely accused of “espionage” activity, and my sons are alleged to have been forcibly recruited into a corrupt government program, which I will redact here as the Pxxxxxx Program, involving intentional harm toward the public, directed by federal agencies.  My older son appears to be falsely reported upon in the categories of “illegal weapons trafficking” and “terrorism.” And my younger son appears to be falsely reported upon in the categories of “drug trafficking,” “failing to register as a foreign agent,” and other crimes.  Both of them have reportedly suffered human trafficking by their respective agencies (the FBI in the case of my younger son and an affiliate agency in the case of my older son), shock treatment, near-drowning, food and water deprivation, sovereignty violations, directives to cause harm to others,  and other injuries in the demand for knowingly falsified witness statements about our family.

Unfortunately, the FBI’s abuse of our family members, colleagues and friends does not appear to stop with my sons, but allegedly extends to my daughter in law, my brother, my uncle, my aunt, my ministers, and many other family members, friends, colleagues and associates – all in the quest for knowingly false witness statements which are intended to bolster false FBI claims, apparently originating with Tom Lyons and his close affiliate Brandan Pesa.

However, I would like to point out that false reporting about the American public appears to represent widespread policy for the FBI, and my case – while uniquely egregious in its abuses by the agency – is part of an apparent larger effort by the FBI to create a dossier of false reporting which wrongfully implicates every American citizen, including minors, of wrongdoing that could serve to justify their harm.

The FBI often likes to state that it needs falsified law enforcement reporting because of the pressures of global concerns relating to a climate crisis which is much more severe than has been acknowledged by public officials.

But my contention is that the FBI wants falsified law enforcement reporting in order to exert control over the financial, social, professional, educational, and medical spheres of the American public’s personal lives.  The agency does not need it to fulfill its mission and objectives.

And further, there is no plan to sunset programs of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting.  These false dossiers, increasingly AI-generated, will be created, aggregated, and disseminated in perpetuity unless insightful and insistent advocates such as myself object at this juncture with clarity, principle and determination on behalf of the nation as a whole.

The American people cannot defend themselves against lies they cannot examine.

Therefore, I respectfully request that you communicate with the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. Department of Justice regarding my name change request.

You will certainly receive extensive communication from the FBI, regardless.

At issue is whether or not the FBI’s false reporting will be loaded into the publicly accessible court records associated with my name change request, information which I have been repeatedly denied despite my assiduous efforts to obtain it.

What are my thoughts about this juncture?

I would ask that the Honorable Judge involved in this case speak with me directly about the alternatives.

I am not hiring an attorney to handle this matter, because the FBI has used attorneys in the past to communicate misleading counsel.  So, I would rather that this issue be handled more directly.

Do I wish to be defamed by the FBI by AI-generated films, photos, false witness statements and wrongful accusations in the public record when I have been deprived of all of this information through my lawful requests?

No one would want such an outcome.

Having said that, if this is the only way to force the FBI to disclose the problem of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting against the honorable American public, it might be a viable tool for change in the course of my advocacy.

Your Honor should know that I currently have an Arizona Public Records Act request with the Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ Office, with documentation pending.

Attorney General Mayes will come under extraordinary pressure as part of this request, as will, regrettably, you yourself.

My recommendation for mitigating that pressure is to move quickly and decisively, and to involve me in the decision-making.

The longer an individual waits regarding a critical matter pertaining to knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting by the FBI, the greater the opportunity for the FBI to threaten and bribe family members, friends, and associates.

So, delay is the enemy for good people combating false reporting by the FBI.

And communication with the investigators of integrity within the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. Department of Justice (oig.hotline@usdoj.gov)  is key. (Please note that the Hotline is distinct from the standard OIG of the U.S. DOJ.)

Thank you for allowing me to provide this background, your Honor, and I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you about this circumstance, if you feel that is most appropriate.

Respectfully,

Lane MacWilliams
