My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

UPDATE: Itinerary for Lane MacWilliams, August 31, 2023

UPDATE:  OIG Hotline, a few other details about August 31, 2023:

A security guard was outside of PostalAnnex when I arrived.

Additionally, a security guard was outside of Nordstrom when I arrived.

Further, when I was parked on the shoulder of Los Trancos Rd. at the end of the day, the homeowners of a nearby home emerged to do some gardening.  In their driveway, there was a white FBI-type surveillance van I had never seen previously.

Finally, I was wearing a hooded windbreaker and sunglasses yesterday due to the live round that was fired in the FedEx parking lot at 1935 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

The source of that firearm discharge was not identified by me, and no police arrived at the scene to investigate the matter.

As a result, I remain extremely concerned for my safety and that of my family members.

My Wifi is once again being obstructed from my home address, necessitating that I make this post from the FedEx at 1194 E. El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

I will place this information in an affidavit as soon as possible.

********************************************************************************

OIG Hotline, today I left the house shortly after 8 AM so that I could accompany my husband into Portola Valley by caravanning.

I then traveled to the Postal Annex at 2010 El Camino Real in Mountain View to prepare documentation for your Office.  My visit there appeared to be surveilled by a man ostensibly applying for a background check at the request of his employer, even though he asked that the results be mailed to him directly.

Following that, I traveled to Whole Foods in Mountain View and purchased some groceries.

Further, I purchased gas for my car in Los Altos.

After 11:00 AM, I traveled to Nordstrom's in Palo Alto, where I briefly shopped and used the restroom.

Subsequently, I took my car to Lozano's car wash in Sunnyvale, where the detail worker, Saur, did not ask for pay for forty minutes work, (I gave him $50 for his labor anyway.) raising my suspicion with regard to whether he was being paid by a third party.

Following that, I traveled to Pep Boys in Sunnyvale at 170 E. El Camino Real, and asked whether I might observe an air conditioning evaluation and heat pump replacement on the part of the auto mechanic.

The attendant recommended that I travel to the Pep Boys in San Jose due to their "open mechanics' bay."

I did so, driving to 3780 Stevens Creek Blvd.  While there, three white vans arrived, none of them with a Pep Boys' logo.  Two of those license plates read 27857N3 and 80498K3, as pictured herewith:

In addition, a "Janitorial Services" van without a front license plate (illegal in the state of California) appeared to deliver an item to the mechanics' bay intended for my car.  Why was this unusual?  The mechanics had not yet examined my vehicle.

Feeling uncomfortable with this unexplained delivery, I asked for my key and reclaimed possession of my car prior to any mechanic's evaluation of my vehicle.

Whether the "item" delivered for my car was, as alleged, a dangerous device intended to cause me bodily harm may be a matter of interest to investigators.

Afterwards, I stopped off at an auto parts store to look at heat mitigation strategies through window tinting.

I subsequently drove to the Stanford campus and called my husband on his cell phone, requesting that he accompany me on the isolated stretch of Los Trancos leading to our Vista Verde Way home.

Then, I purchased water from Safeway in Los Altos.

I proceeded to Los Trancos Rd, close to its intersection with Alpine Rd.

While waiting for my husband, I chatted with a grandmother strolling by, allegedly in search of clothing her grandson had left at the tennis club.  Her overlong explanation of her quest raised a degree of doubt concerning the genuineness of the tale.  Generally, people who extend overlong explanations of this kind are lying.  She appeared overcurious about the groceries in my car.

Following her departure, a San Mateo County Sheriff's Department vehicle passed by heading toward Portola Valley, raising yet further concerns of false reporting contributed to NSARI at Txx Lxxxx' behest.

I confirm with this account that all of my actions today were logical, cogent, honorable and lawful.

I hereby contest the claims of any person who suggests otherwise as knowingly, willfully, and categorically false.

I will place this information into affidavit form when I am able.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

Apparent Warning at FedEx in Mountain View

OIG Hotline, I am currently working at the FedEx at 1935 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View, CA.

Approximately ten minutes ago, a gun was fired in the parking lot.

I did not identify the source, as I was sitting in my car at the time.  I rushed into the FedEx at that time and contacted my husband.

He is now en route.

  • A few important details:  there appears to be a white surveillance van currently in the parking lot with California plates 82769U2.
  • On the way here, my husband and I pulled over at the edge of Los Trancos Rd. bordering the entrance to the Alpine Tennis and Swim Club, so that he could contact a notary in order to prepare further materials for your office.  A little girl, perhaps 12 or 14 years of age, circled our vehicles several times on her bicycle with a look of fear and alarm on her face -- prompted by absolutely no wrong on our part.  We immediately left, but this experience was deeply concerning.  We are protective of children and the vulnerable.  Whatever this child had been told about our presence there appeared to frighten her terribly.
  • Beyond this episode, my husband did reach a notary, Mr. Sivanagaraju Yarramaneni, who will document my affidavits on the way home.  I am informed that Mr. Yarramaneni was prevailed upon by Txx Lxxxx to falsely report about a dialogue my husband and I shared in his presence last week, expressing that Reverend Matt McDermott is a wonderful person.  Today, my husband and I will discuss nothing in front of Mr. Yarramaneni other than the Jurat notarization of the affidavits at hand.  I will include within these documents an affidavit stating that all of our actions today, as at all times, have been lawful and honorable in all respects.
Clearly, we are concerned for our security at this time.  If Mr. Yarramaneni falsely reports our words in his presence, our safety could be endangered.  Certainly, Notaries Public of documents for the OIG Hotline ought not to be recruited informants for Txx Lxxxx.  The conflicts of interest are overwhelming in such a circumstance.

I do not expect to have Wifi access tomorrow, Monday, August 29th or Tuesday, August 30th, due to likely close-range signal blocking from a near neighbor (the Hyvers and the Bleiers are the most likely candidates due to proximity).

I will hope to update this blog on Wednesday, August 31st.

With appreciation for your Office,

Lane MacWilliams

My Husband's Appointment with Klara Turner

This is to document that my husband had a 10:00 AM appointment for a haircut this morning, August 26, 2023, with paid FBI informant Klara Turner.  Because Ms. Turner has been coerced into providing falsified witness statements in the past regarding the MacWilliams family, it seems prudent to document this schedule here.

Out of an abundance of caution, the full extent of dialogue between my husband and Klara Turner will be documented.  This information can be made available to OIG Hotline investigators upon request.

Previous threats of falsified witness statements from Ms. Turner and additional harms perpetrated at the directive of FBI personnel are presumed to remain a concern.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.

FBI Informant Attempting to Engage with Lane MacWilliams at FedEx 1935 Mountain View, CA

Update: Attempted Grand Larceny by FBI Agent Txx Lxxxx?

Update:  OIG Hotline, following this post, Bank of America decided to reverse itself this afternoon and accept my funds after all.

I will add information to my affidavit concerning this issue.

I must express how grateful I am for your investigators' presence.

Your awareness of this circumstance truly appears to have altered the outcome.

My hope is always that my experience can be used in the future to help other Americans who may not be so fortunate as to have advocacy, though they may have labored valiantly to find it.

With deep appreciation for your engagement,

Lane MacWilliams

********************************************************************************

OIG Hotline, please be aware of the following email, which I sent to Comerica Bank's Mehran A. Farahani this morning at 8:49 AM.

It appears that Ms. Farahani complied with Txx Lxxxx' directives yesterday morning to insert intentional errors on a wire transfer form for six figures from Comerica to Bank of America.

I will be communicating with Ms. Farahani later today, but it is likely that she will need support in defending against Txx Lxxxx' threats as she again attempts to lawfully transfer my funds.

Your intervention in this effort would be heartily appreciated.

My understanding is that Tom Lxxxx instructed Comerica to cancel my accounts with the express intention of appropriating the cash from this account.

So, this circumstance is deeply troubling, to be sure.

Ideally, badge-carrying FBI agents would not be involved in attempted grand larceny against law-abiding "targets of interest."

I will be preparing an affidavit for notarization today concerning this matter.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

Email sent to: mafarahani@comerica.com  From: lanemacwilliams@gmail.com  Date: August 25, 2023 at 8:49 AM

Re: Errors You Included in Documentation of my Money Market Wire Transfer to Bank of America

Ms. Farahani,

I am informed that the wire you sent to Bank of America yesterday on my behalf in the amount of xxx, xxx.xx is going to be rejected by Bank of America today, because of errors you incorporated into the wire transfer form under the "account type."  You wrongly listed my Comerica account, ending 5794 as a debit account, and categorized it as "Account Type DDA."

I questioned you about this designation yesterday, and you specifically assured me that this was the correct categorization.  Please be aware that this conversation was fully documented.

Evidently, you included this error at the directive of corrupt FBI agent Txx Lxxxx, who, I am informed, is attempting to implement a scheme to steal these funds when they are mailed to me from Comerica, without FDIC protection.

Ms. Farahani, this is a serious matter, as, should this harm come to pass, it represents conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

Mr. Lxxxx is a hardened criminal, even though he wears a badge from the FBI.

He has extensive liability in this matter, as does the FBI, as does Comerica Bank, as does any individual who has contributed to this problem.

I need to ensure that these funds are wired into my Bank of America account properly and completely today.

I recommend that you, and, indeed, everyone at Comerica, assist me in ensuring that this occurs.

Please be apprised that this communication will be shared with the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S.  Department of Justice, which is currently investigating the malfeasance of Txx Lxxxx and others within the FBI in the perpetration of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives.

Thank you for your urgent and thoughtful attention to this matter.

Lane MacWilliams

Following herewith are two exceptionally odd letters from Comerica Bank, announcing the planned closure of my accounts.

Further Jurat Notarized Affidavits

OIG Hotline, I am currently working away from home due to obstructed Wifi at my residence, presumably due to close-range signal blocking.

Please be apprised that I am in the process of preparing new affidavits for your Office, which I will soon notarize.

I will update this blog with further information regarding this material.

Thank you for your attention to new documentation as it becomes available.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

OIG Hotline, I have documented important information for your Office within an email to lanemacwilliams@gmail.com, with copies sent to lmacwilliams77419@gmail.com and lmacwilliams7417@gmail.com this afternoon, sent at 3:39 PM Pacific time.

The subject heading of this email is "Important Communication for OIG Hotline Concerning KPM Travel."

Please access this email as soon as you are able to do so.  Please be aware that this communication was originally written more than twelve hours ago, but I was unable to record it due to close-range signal jamming of my Wifi.

When the FBI Denies Consumer Banking Services to Whistleblowers

OIG Hotline, I recently received a letter from Comerica Bank stating that it would be terminating my consumer banking accounts and declining to give any reason for doing so. I will post this letter as soon as Wifi access is restored at my residence.

As a result of Comerica's letter, I opened three accounts at Bank of America in Palo Alto today, and subsequently traveled to Comerica to process three wire transfers of the balance of these accounts.

Interestingly, the $1,000 transfer was processed by Comerica with no difficulty, and the $3,000 transfer was handled smoothly by the Bank as well.  However, the third transfer, which represented a six-figure sum, was obstructed repeatedly by Txx Lxxxx' directives to Ms. Mehren Farahani to delay that transaction.

On the receiving end, at Bank of America, Mr. Lxxxx also initiated communication with Banker Ms. Helen Zhang to classify the larger wire transfer as "pending," not complete.

It would appear that Mr. Lxxxx had definitive plans for the dispensation of my savings.

Despite several trips on my part, traveling back and forth between both banks, Mr. Lxxxx appeared loathe to relinquish his designs.

At this moment, it seems that Bank of America has confirmed three successful wire transfers, including the larger one, during a documented phone conversation.

One banker at Comerica, in a gambit clearly directed by Txx Lxxxx, asked if the wire transfers indicated that I was leaving the state!

No, I explained.  They indicated that a third party had bullied Comerica into cancelling my consumer banking accounts.

Corrupt FBI agent Txx Lxxxx has wrought havoc with my financial life today by slandering me as a "flight risk," it would seem.

Mr. Lxxxx, I'm not going anywhere!

I intend to serve as a whistleblower of your crimes until you and your colleagues are held fully accountable in a court of law!

At issue is the following:  should a corrupt FBI agent, with close ties to Russian-affiliated organized crime, be able to harass a law-abiding American whistleblower with impunity?

Should he be able to cancel her bank accounts?

To appropriate their sums through "failed" wire transfers?

To impoverish her?

The FBI's far right clearly feels entitled to a whole panoply of civil and human rights violations beyond those listed here.

But will law-abiding American citizens tolerate the far right's financial abuses of "targets" in furthering the cause of autocracy?

I don't think we should speculate on this point.

I think we should ask them.

Most sincerely

Lane MacWilliams

OIG Hotline, please be aware that I documented all of my conversations with bankers today, as well as a conversation with a parking attendant who attempted to have me leave the Bank of America parking garage without paying.  (Though he refused to supply me with a specific charge, I gave him $5 in cash in order to cover my estimate of these costs.)

UPDATE: Friday Night Lights

UPDATE:  OIG Hotline, we have moved these three balls to our mailbox on Vista Verde Way, as pictured.

They are technically still on our property, but if a child in the neighborhood recognizes one or more balls as belonging to him or her, hopefully he or she will reclaim it.

We have not examined or altered these balls in any way.

Again, they don't belong to us, and we have no knowledge of their possible significance.

Due to the fact that FBI affiliates have suggested that the football relates in some manner to falsified law enforcement reporting, I will prepare and notarize an affidavit concerning this subject for your Office today.

Please check this blog later today for upcoming information concerning multiple newly notarized affidavits for your use.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

OIG Hotline, this blue and yellow football, ostensibly a child's toy, was left on our property several days ago, approximately ten feel from the top of our driveway.

I photographed and documented it yesterday for the sole reason that I had received threats that I would receive a child's toy that contained an illicit substance or item of some kind.

I do not know what the contents, if any, of this item are, and neither does any member of my family.

None of us has moved it from its original location.

It's probably worth noting that I also noticed two other balls on our property, though, from their weathering, I don't believe they were placed here recently.  (Please excuse the quality of the photograph.  This is a heavily wooded area.)

My husband will plan to move these balls to the curb at Vista Verde Way.  (I will take a photo for documentation.).

That way, if they happen to belong to a child in the neighborhood, they can be easily reclaimed.

It would be lovely to simply knock on a few neighbors' doors to find the rightful owner.  Regrettably, the FBI's defamation to the neighbors has rendered that congenial outreach impossible at the moment.

If, on the other hand, one or more of these balls contains something unlawful or dangerous planted by the FBI or its affiliates, I hope this post will encourage those responsible to retrieve the ball or balls before any harm transpires.

Thank you for allowing me to document this small detail.

One only hopes that the American pastime of football will not be supplanted by the more nefarious games of the far right.

The strength of our national character far outweighs the unwarranted deceits of a few.

We may be called upon to prove that assertion, but I believe we're up to the task.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

When Companies Deny Data Deletion Requests at the Directive of the FBI

OIG Hotline, I share herewith my communications with Newfold Digital, which is the parent company for Register.com, Domain.com, and many other web hosting platforms.

I do not believe it represents a legal action for Newfold Digital to deny my data deletion request on the basis of my continuing to possess active domain names corresponding to my legal name, my book titles, etc.

My understanding is that the California Public Records Act allows active customers of goods and services to lawfully request deletion of their data.

Raising suspicion of FBI involvement in this case is the invitation on the part of Newfound Digital to file a complaint.  The last line of this company's July 11, 2023 email reads as follows:   In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal information, please contact our Data Protection Office at privacy@newfold.com.

Why would a company invite a customer to file a complaint?  And where have we seen this before?

I recall clearly the manner in which Wells Fargo banker Mr. Pedram Ghaderpanahi filed a complaint in my name on May 23, 2023, despite my express request that he not do so.

Further, every customer service representative for Wells Fargo to whom I spoke over the phone appeared to be enthusiastically suggesting that I file a complaint against the Bank concerning its handling of my privacy request.

At that time, I made clear to everyone in writing that I had denied Mr. Ghaderpanahi's request to file a complaint on my behalf, and further, I asked that all complaints against Wells Fargo in my name be immediately withdrawn.

Why did I make this effort, and why am I now taking care to explain to Newfound Digital that my communication does not constitute a complaint?

Because the California Privacy Act allows companies to retain customer data if they have a reason to believe a given customer may take legal action against them in the future.

In other words, if a company unlawfully denies a customer's data deletion request, and the customer responds by filing a complaint about that denial, the company can now claim that the presence of the complaint serves as justification for their data retention.  The company may point to the complaint as evidence that it may be sued by a given individual in the future;  therefore, all of his or her data may be aggregated and disseminated indefinitely.

But what if that data includes AI-generated photos and videos co-opting the customer's likeness to depict her committing acts about which she has no knowledge?

What if that data includes AI-generated audio in which the customer's voice is threatening others?

What if that data includes privacy violations such as wrongfully filmed intimacy between a loving husband and wife?

And what if all of the above can be disseminated from an "aggregating company" such as Newfold Digital at the instruction of the FBI?

In that case, no one has a right to privacy at all.  And further, no one has protection against ongoing defamation as perpetrated by FBI personnel and affiliates whenever they so desire.

It is perhaps worth mentioning that I have seen this gambit extended by one other company:  Netflix.

Netflix refused to fulfill my data deletion request under the California Privacy Act, because I was still their customer.

In response, I immediately deleted my Netflix account, and made it clear that I expected my data deletion request to be upheld.

In the case concerning Newfold Digital, the matter is more complex.  If I were to relinquish my ownership of domain names such as thegodfatherconversations.com, nothing terrible would happen.

(Note that I purchased this domain name when I was regularly posting information regarding falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives on a blog entitled, "The Godfather Conversations."  Despite the heading, I have never knowingly had a conversation with a "Godfather.")

But if I were to relinquish my ownership of lanemacwilliams.com, anyone could acquire it as his own, and begin posting disinformation under this heading without my consent.

People do, quite understandably, wish to preserve their online presence as a truthful representation of who they are and what they stand for.

Somehow, we need to reclaim the right of law-abiding Americans to own their own likeness, the encroachments of AI technologies notwithstanding.

Facebook should not own the photos and the posts reflecting the daily lives of its users.  That ownership must be retained by those whose lives, through images and words, are depicted in that online forum.

Alongside this, the FBI must be prohibited from aggregating and disseminating defamatory information regarding law-abiding "targets of interest" through its recruitment of a shifting series of third-party contractors:  banks, credit card companies, social media companies, web hosting companies, the Library of Congress, utility companies, etc.

In so doing, the agency is attempting to keep its hands clean while actively preying upon those who resist its attempts at totalitarian control over the social, economic and physical lives of the law-abiding American public.

The FBI's continual "recruitment" of partners in its defamation schemes must be, in every instance, disallowed.

Members of the American public cannot keep up with the FBI's systematic violation of their privacy rights through its stratagems of moving defamatory disinformation from one digital holding location to another, all perpetrated under color of law.

The agency simply needs to be stopped from recruiting third-party contractors for this purpose.

Further, when the FBI's third-party contractors fail to honor data deletion requests, they need to experience meaningful and immediate ramifications -- those that affect their bottom line.

I would welcome the OIG Hotline's intervention with Newfold Digital in insisting that this company honor my data deletion request.

I will post follow up communications here.

In gratitude for your attention to this matter,

Lane MacWilliams

Re:  Fwd: (Request ID: 6CMYY4YBD8) Request cannot be completed

Dear Newfold Administration Team:

I am currently standing as a whistleblower of FBI malfeasance in the form of the FBI's perpetration of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting against the law-abiding American public.  The FBI has created, aggregated, and disseiminated, often through the use of contractors and third parties such as Newfold, knowingly false and defamatory information concerning law-abiding Americans who have been wrongfully designated "targets of interest."

Newfold oversees domain names I own under both Register.com and Domain.com.

My request for data deletion under the California Privacy Act was rejected by Newfold, as you see from the email below, because Newfold states that accounts that are in active status are not eligible for erasure.

In general , the California Privacy Act is intended to ensure that data involving California customers not be misused in any way, shape, or form.

It is not meant to deprive Californians of access to the same products and services that other Americans freely exercise.

I continue to stand as a whistleblower of the FBI's falsified law enforcement reporting, and this is my active and ongoing choice, as well as my priority.  As such, I need to ensure that knowingly false and defamatory information wielded by the FBI and its affiliates, as well as information involving unwarranted privacy violations by the FBI and its affiliates, not be missed by the FBI or its affiliates in an attempt to discredit me.

What can I do to ensure that the domain names I possess through Newfold do not open the door to FBI abuses in this regard?

Can you please provide me with options which will protect me from the misuse and dissemination of material wielded by the FBI and its affiliates?

Is there a way in which my accounts can be designated as currently inactive, while still allowing me to retain my domain names? (I own the domain name associated with my legal name, lanemacwilliams.com, for example, which I would like to retain.). While I am happy to delete the domain names I possess under Domain.com, the domain names I own under Register.com include my legal name and the titles of published novels, which it would be best for me to retain.

Please assist me in assessing the choices available to me at this time.

Please be apprised that a copy of this communication will be shared with the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. Department of Justice, due to the fact that this Office is currently investigating the FBI's perpetration of falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives.

Please understand that this communication does not constitute a complaint, but rather a polite request for assistance from the management of Newfold Digital.

Thank you for your support in this matter.

Lane MacWilliams
