Update: The post below originally appeared on this blog on April 16, 2023. It is being republished as a critical reminder to General Mark Milley at this moment in time.

1. You have been told that the far right's intended interventions with the power grids within the U.S. and elsewhere relate to -- ironically enough -- DoD projections of approaching limits to recovery from climate deterioration.
Answer: Yes, I have. And that reality is ironic, given the ongoing denials of the far right that climate change exists. The far right has intentionally misled the American public by decrying climate change as a hoax, even while the DoD has developed rather detailed plans relating to the forcible alteration of worldwide power consumption.
2. Why have far right factions within the FBI and other three-letter agencies engaged in this disinformation campaign?
Answer: There is an internal belief that many Americans will cling to regressive ideology rather than embracing the truth, which is that we all have to adapt with regard to our energy consumption -- and we need to do so fairly rapidly.
The far right may be preaching coal and oil consumption to Republicans within our country, but it's important to note that the DoD has invested billions to ensure that the American military can sustain itself on renewable energies.
It's necessary for the American electorate to comprehend the reasons why this is so.
3. Why is it necessary?
Answer: Because the far right is lying to its followers, and it is doing so in order to wrest power away from our democratic system of self-governance.
4. How are Democrats communicating with the public?
Answer: Democrats are telling the American electorate the truth, which is that we all need to adapt in our energy consumption. We all need to demonstrate a commitment to making this change. And we're all capable of transforming our energy consumption to a green economy, as President Biden has so rightly expressed, if we work together.
5. Your point is that Democratic leadership and Republican leadership actually agree, at least privately, on the fact that substantive changes in energy consumption need to take place. However, some within the far right are attempting to wield power grid insecurity as the specific means of usurping control from the American electorate.
Answer: That's correct. The American people as a whole cannot see what's coming -- and as a result, they have no means of defending themselves, their families, their neighbors, or the democracy as a whole.
6. Is this the reason why you are repeatedly expressing to General Mark Milley that it is his responsibility to keep the power grid within the United States up and running?
Answer: It is. General Milley is perfectly capable of supporting President Biden's vision for a peaceable transition to renewable energies within the United States and elsewhere in the world, and it is incumbent upon him to do so.
No one should be privately claiming that the intentional creation of instability within the U.S. power grid -- from which a number of people can handsomely profit, I might add -- would constitute a charitable act. It would not.
7. In conjunction with the threat from the far right of U.S. power grid tampering, you have concerns about the manner in which various police departments around the country are becoming militarized.
Answer: I do. The mayor in San Diego had to prevent the police department from purchasing more tanks. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-08-28/gloria-proposing-greater-scrutiny-restrictions-on-use-of-military-weapons-by
And in Georgia, as the New York Times recently wrote, citizens are alarmed by the development of a large military-style police training complex outside of Atlanta. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/04/us/cop-city-atlanta-police-training.html
8. What is your concern surrounding these developments?
Answer: The militarization of local police forces is historically seen to accompany concealed plans for the imposition of effective martial law.
The public should be asking about what types of emergencies could require military-style crowd control, because that's what tanks and armored vehicles are used for when they are deployed against civilian populations.
9. Your point is that the far right might claim that a "lights-out" emergency was caused by a foreign actor, even while utilizing the crisis to usurp power from the American electorate.
Answer: That is my point. Yes. The American public is being duped by all far right information sources at this time. The intentions of those who are extending that disinformation are not benevolent, civic-minded, Constitutional, lawful, or fair.
10. Some members of the far right, including Donald Trump, have recently suggested that the Constitution no longer serves Americans' best interests.
Answer: The American electorate needs to think long and hard about the true origins of that messaging.
11. You do not believe that Donald Trump decided to disparage the Constitution all by himself.
Answer: I do not.
12. Who would benefit most from an overt departure from the U.S. Constitution?
Answer: Those who have already departed from it covertly --namely, far right factions within the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, the DHS, and the DoD.
13. What role does falsified law enforcement reporting play in the establishment of an autocracy?
Answer: A central one. The far right consolidates its power by communicating to a given public that it can "ruin" anyone -- arrest anyone on false charges -- persecute anyone for non-compliance -- take the life of anyone on a whim.
Yet, the perpetrators of these crimes desire to be "justified" in their predations toward innocents. So, there are false records, false witness statements, false evidence. These people always want to cross the "t's" of totalitarianism.
So, they wield falsified law enforcement reporting toward that goal.
14. What needs to happen in order for the American people to grasp the truth of this circumstance?
Answer: Most immediately, General Mark Milley needs to take all "grid-down" scenarios off the table for the United States. Period. He has the capacity to prevent such emergencies. It is incumbent upon him to do so. That's the job he signed up for.
Secondly, he should step forward to support President Biden's plan for a peaceable transition to clean energy and that message should be repeated throughout the political right. With more than 350 million people, we have the ability to develop and sustain our own green economy, as President Biden has expressed. This transition is directly related to our long-term security, and it needs to be taken seriously by everyone.
Thirdly, the crimes of the far right against the law-abiding American electorate, including those related in any manner to falsified law enforcement reporting, need to be fully illuminated for the American public in the interests of our democracy's defense.
Fourthly, the means and objectives of propaganda dissemination by the far right need to be unmasked for Americans as a whole and Republicans in particular.
Our democracy depends upon our courage in articulating the manner in which the far right has sought to dupe and deceive a trusting public. The aim of this group is a usurpation of the people's sovereignty, and it needs to be revealed as such.
15. Is our country capable of this self-examination?
Answer: Yes. It is. We have a wise, intrepid, and steadfast Commander-in-Chief in President Joseph R. Biden. With his leadership, we are capable of a full examination of all that has transpired in this instance.
16. You are saying that preservation of our democracy requires us to find this courage as a nation.
Answer: It does. We are extremely fortunate in having a President who can lead us through these shoals. That's a rare occurrence, all by itself, and we need to understand how fortunate we are in this regard. President Biden reminds us to locate our pride as Americans in our defense of one another's civil liberties and human rights. It is this fundamental goodness toward one another that gives our democracy its life and breath.
17. The soul of the nation is defined by individual citizens who are determined to help one another.
Answer: Yes, it is.
