My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Why Torture Perpetrated by the FBI Cannot Be Justified

OIG Hotline, I remain uncertain about the FBI's justification for the rising environmental hazards at our home.

We are hoping for mitigation of the environmental harms caused by the FBI, not exacerbation.

One would always hope that human ethics would guide the FBI leadership to prevent harm against law-abiding Americans, not perpetrate it.

Certainly, for increasing environmental harms to be perpetrated against an FBI whistleblower stands as an indictment of a system of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting to which far right segments of the FBI and its affiliates appear to be committed.

Please see an email to your attention within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com for specific measurements of exacerbated environmental harms at our home at 45 Vista Verde Way, sent at 9:09 AM Pacific time, bearing the subject heading: Measures of Exacerbated Environmental Harm Perpetrated by the FBI and Its Affiliates at 45 Vista Verde Way.

It is likely that the FBI is taking advantage of a long weekend to perpetrate torture of my family, knowing that they cannot be held accountable in an office setting for several more days.

They likely believe they can act with relative impunity in blaming these exposures on a "misunderstanding with a contractor."

What has become clear to me is that these tools, wielded by a wayward FBI, should never be used on anyone.

The FBI's histrionic justifications for the deployment of radiation devices against law-abiding Americans -- namely, false allegations of "terrorism" -- would be laughable if they weren't so tragic.

One has the impression of small boys running around with towels for capes and sticks for laserbeams, imagining themselves as "saving the world."

The problem for our nation is those "small boys" are harming those who love democracy.  And they now carry badges instead of fake superman costumes.  And their laserbeams are directed energy devices that cause permanent harm to our best and brightest.  And this is no longer a child's game, but rather an expression of covert war, waged on the unknowing.

More than twenty years ago, then-President George Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice advocated and pursued policies supportive of torture as a response to 9/11.

In an October 2001 speech to the Alfed E. Smith Memorial Foundation in New York, Dick Cheney described the new challenge the U.S. faced in seeking out terrorists: "We are dealing here with evil people who dwell in the shadows, planning unimaginable violence and destruction."

And with that description of our enemies, we as a nation determined to locate those who might wish us harm through implementing a program called "Total Information Awareness."

This allowed for the aggregation of complete electronic data on every American: "The electronic data to be gathered was to include individual people's phone records, computer searches, credit card receipts, parking receipts, books checked out of the library, films rented, and more, from every military and civilian database in the United States, with the hope of determining who were the terrorists lurking among ordinary Americans." (The Pentagon's Brain, Annie Jacobsen, p. 340)

A related program, the Activity Recognition and Monitoring Program would analyze data in an attempt to determine whose behavior among the American electorate was "suspicious" and whose behavior was "ordinary."

The parameters for "ordinary" behavior remain classified to this day. (The Pentagon's Brain, Annie Jacobsen, p. 341)

At some point, the FBI's Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative was launched as a means of actively monitoring the "suspicious" among us:  the drug dealers, the human traffickers, the spies, the terrorists, etc.

When did the NSARI begin to create a list of suspicious activities for "Targeted Individuals" out of thin air?  When was that falsified list utilized to justify mass surveillance through FBI personnel and affiliates of the United States public?  When was knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting within the FBI first utilized to perpetrate active harm against the law-abiding citizenry?

It's difficult to guess.  It appears possible that FBI Counterintelligence under J. Edgar Hoover was always involved in a degree of wholesale fabrication.

In a memo from 1970, Hoover wrote:  Purpose of counter-intelligence action is to disrupt and it is immaterial whether facts exist to substantiate the charge.  If facts are present it aids in the success of the proposal but the Bureau feels ... that disruption can be accomplished without facts to back it up.  (Memo, September 16, 1970)

Full stop.

It appears that, for the whole of J. Edgar Hoover's tenure at the FBI, which extended nearly fifty years, from 1924 until 1972, segments of the FBI were directed to lie in order to justify their surveillance, their obstruction, and their direct harm.

Infamously, the FBI attempted to destroy the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr.s marriage by sending tape recordings to his wife.  And the FBI followed this act by repeatedly suggesting to King that he should commit suicide rather than to have his personal life publicly exposed.

King spoke against the Vietnam War most famously in a speech on April 4, 1967.

He was assassinated exactly one year later, on April 4, 1968.

Afterwards, Hoover appeared exceedingly reluctant to have the FBI investigate the nation's loss.

Due to foot-dragging and obfuscation, Dr. King's murderer was never identified.

So now, when we are considering the institutional culture of an agency that is threatening the civil liberties and human rights of the American public, what questions should we be asking?

How extensive is the FBI's "Disposition Matrix"?

How rapidly has this list grown year-over-year for the past twenty-two years, since the passage of the Patriot Act?

How do the Phoenix Program and the Disposition Matrix overlap?

What are the details of the system of falsified law enforcement reporting that justify the unconstitutional surveillance, harassment and harm of law-abiding American citizens who wrongfully populate these lists?

Are Democrats (who I am given to understand are referred to as "demoncrats" within the FBI and among its affiliates) over-represented on these lists? Journalists?  Women?  Minorities?

And to what degree is torture being utilized to harm and kill law-abiding Americans who have been wrongfully designated as "Targets of Interest"?

If in fact the FBI has assumed the power of judge, jury, and executioner toward the law-abiding American public, how can the agency be held to account?

What are the influences of foreign actors over a corrupt FBI?

Are members of Russian-affiliated organized crime paying off key FBI personnel in the form of cryptocurrency deposits?

If this is the case, is Vladimir Putin effectively directing executions of law-abiding Americans on U.S. soil?

Does Brandan Pesa exert more control over the FBI than Christopher Wray?

And what might that mean for our national sovereignty?

These are questions which must be asked and answered if our democracy is to survive the "insider threat" to our nation posed by our current FBI and its affiliates.

In this process, the very "sources and methods" the FBI has sought to conceal from the American public must be exposed.

As Eisenhower observed in 1961, our freedoms are dependent upon a fully informed electorate:

"The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist... Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

If now, in 2023, we encounter an FBI deploying methods of torture through intentional irradiation, alongside myriad other harms, of the law-abiding U.S. citizenry, then the U.S. citizenry must learn what those methods of torture are.

In a converse to "Total Information Awareness," I would posit that it is the American people who must know everything about the FBI and its affiliates.  Their false reporting, their surveillance, their tools, their methods of harassment and harm, their crimes against the innocent -- all of this must be publicly illuminated if our liberty is to survive the totalitarian systems developed under the claim of national security provisions by a wayward FBI.

And, as someone who has experienced torture -- and has watched my family be tortured -- at the hands of corrupt FBI affiliates, I can confidently say that torture can never be justified.

Our human dignity, our inalienable rights, and the sanctity of the human spirit forbid its use.

The FBI is no doubt angry with me for pointing out that it is alleged to have caused grievous harm to my family's health, my personal safety, and the structural and environmental integrity of my property.

Yet those truths, if proven, cannot justify yet further crimes perpetrated by this agency.

In spiritual terms, the wrongs we knowingly inflict on others will be returned to us one-thousand fold.

And so, I would say to George Bush, to Dick Cheney, and to Condeleeza Rice -- when you granted permission for the CIA to torture others overseas, you also granted permission for the FBI to torture us within our own country.

Our all-too-ready assumptions that those punishments were just allowed wayward far right factions of our three-letter agencies to claim the necessity of totalitarian means of defending our freedoms.

Yet, that essential premise is fatally flawed.

There can be no enduring freedom unless totalitarian means of law enforcement are rejected.

There can be no lasting democracy unless the FBI's falsified law enforcement reporting is exposed.

There can be no genuine peace when the far right is waging covert war against the law-abiding American public.

There can be no place for torture in a nation which endeavors to value human rights.

And there can be no silence surrounding the FBI's intentional harms toward those who exercise free speech in the service of human liberty.

So, I challenge the FBI to do the following:

Remove all radon sources you and your affiliates placed on my property at 45 Vista Verde Way.  Return my land and my home to the sanctuary it was before you arrived with your false reports, your coerced witness statements, your AI-generated films, your slander and defamation, your pathogens and parasites, your false fingerprints and DNA claims, your outright lies.

Restore my family's health.

Restore my rightful access to home insurance, umbrella insurance, life insurance.

Abandon your false claims.

Apologize to all of us.

Release my sons from their obligations to supply Tom Lyons and other corrupt agency personnel with falsified witness statements.

Cease extending disinformation to my older son.  Cease limiting his food and water intake through threats of imminent harm.

Stop surveilling our law-abiding family.

Remove your surveillance devices and DEWs from my homes and from my neighbors' homes.

Restore our utilities accounts to normal service, with all EMF predation removed and all water tampering halted.

Restore our electronic devices to normal service, with all pulsed and variable EMF currents halted.

Stop tampering with our mail and our deliveries, and stop obstructing our communications.

Restore all of my properties to pristine and safe condition.  Restore my boat.  Restore our cars.

Withdraw your autonomous sniper devices from my land.

Withdraw all other contractors you have hired to cause us harm.

Stop threatening to perpetrate arson at my properties.

Confess your crimes against us.

Fulfill my FOIA request with no redactions or omissions.

One critical measure of an institution's worth is the manner in which it responds to being caught doing the wrong thing.  The FBI has been caught lying about the law-abiding American public for anti-democratic objectives.  Now, it must face those lies, the unconscionable slander and defamation they have supported, the indefensible crimes of harm that disinformation has allowed, and any and all foreign compromise of its personnel.

We, the American people, are responsible for insisting that it does so.

And in this effort, we the American people, ever more alert, ever more knowledgable, must prevail.
