My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

New Email for the OIG Hotline

OIG Hotline, I remain deeply concerned that an affiliate agency to the FBI, functioning as a contractor to the FBI, continues to generate falsified law enforcement reporting concerning my family and me, even while I have been asked to cease notarizing affidavits due to security concerns.

In this way, we are being effectively deprived of the means of defending our conduct and character, while those acting lawlessly are coercing false witness statements, and creating other disinformation, with impunity.

I deeply appreciate your efforts to defend the safety and security of my family under these circumstances.

Reflecting on my gratitude for your recent support in yet another realm is an email sent to your attention within my gmail accounts, bearing the subject heading ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re: My Thanks for Your Choice, sent at 8:35 PM on March 5, 2024.

As you know, the OIG Hotline has my full permission to access my email accounts at any time your Office so desires.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
