My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Compassionate Candor

OIG Hotline, please be apprised that I watched a few short videos on LinkedIn on April 8, 2024 entitled "Compassionate Candor." This educational program is related to a book entitled "Radical Candor" by Kim Scott.

Because the FBI is likely to knowingly misreport my viewing of this material as the intake of "radical" content, I felt it important to document this viewing herewith.

The videos represent helpful insights with regard to organizational management.

It is unfortunate that the FBI may have placed them in my LinkedIn "suggestions" feed with the express intent of creating disinformation regarding my activities online.

This content is entirely law-abiding and represents an educational program intended to improve the team-building skills of managers in a professional setting.

This is to reconfirm that all of my activities, communications, conduct, purchases, subscriptions, viewing of Kim Scott videos and intentions online and everywhere else are lawful and honorable in every way, shape, and form.

I hereby contest the claims of any person who suggests otherwise as knowingly, willfully, and categorically false.

Due to the fact that the FBI appears recently to have altered documentation on my blog, the content of this post has also been communicated to your Office in an email with the subject heading ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re: Compassionate Candor Videos on LinkedIn, April 8 and 9, 2024, sent at 3:42 AM on April 9, 2024.

I will likely watch a few more "Compassionate Candor" videos on April 9, 2024, while I have free access. If I do, I will report this viewing to your Office.
