My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Does the FBI Target Whistleblowers with Arrest Warrants?

 1.  Your stalker indicated today that a family member of yours also contributed to falsified law enforcement reporting that was included in the reasons for a warrant for your arrest.

Answer:  He did convey that, along with the allegation that this family member may be my brother.  Having said that, I do not know whether this suggestion is based in fact, or even whether the allegation about the warrant is true.

2.  You don't know whether there is a warrant for your arrest based on falsified reporting.

Answer:  If such a warrant exists, it is based on falsified reporting.  But I have no idea whether it exists.

3.  You have received many, many threats recently stating that if you leave your home, you will be arrested.

Answer:  Yes, those threats have been quite plentiful over the last four or five days. I have received threats from FBI affiliates for a long time, so I fear that I have become somewhat inured to the constant stream of invective.  But the volume and specificity of these latest threats have been notable, which is why I wrote about them here.

4.  Do you hope that OIG Hotline investigators are assessing whether such a warrant has been issued?

Answer:  I certainly hope they have a means of assessing this, yes.

5.  If there is such a warrant, what is your reaction to this news?

Answer:  Well, I would say my first reaction, after the shock, is to observe that the FBI must be deeply frightened of me in my capacity as a whistleblower of FBI malfeasance.  Secondly, there's the fear that we may have drifted into a dystopia, in which the far right segments of the FBI can hold sway through criminal means of false reporting.  If there is a truly a warrant for my arrest as a law-abiding American citizen, I would say we may have entered totalitarian territory, without the vast majority of the American public being aware.

6.  What do you want from this situation?

Answer:  I want what I've always wanted:  the truth.  I want the FBI's engagement in falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives to be thoroughly illuminated for the American electorate.  And I want law-abiding Americans who have been wrongfully designated as "targets of interest," as I have, to be fully exonerated.  The FBI has departed from its commitment to the Constitution.  It's up to us to call it back.

7.  Is it possible?

Answer:  Where there are people who love this country abundantly and unselfishly, all things are possible.

8.  Do you hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct?

Answer:  I do.

9.  Do you authorize OIG Hotline investigators to make inquiries on your behalf regarding the above allegations?

Answer:  Of course.  Yes.

At the end of my posts regarding the unlawful actions of far-right personnel within the FBI, I will be adding the following statement.  The FBI is a deeply divided agency.  There are many FBI employees who view their vows to the Constitution with the utmost seriousness and honor, and who strive to defend the fundamentals of our democracy with courage, fortitude and commitment.  The fact that some segments of the FBI appear to have embraced a lawless course is not a justification to assail the FBI in general.  The safety of FBI agents should be protected, just as the safety of the American citizenry should be protected.  As President Joseph R. Biden has so rightly expressed, violence is never justified in any circumstance.  The rule of law must always be honored and upheld.  It is our shared determination to preserve the civil liberties and human rights of ALL AMERICANS that renders the United States a democracy.  We must never abandon this promise.  All of our most cherished freedoms depend upon it.
