My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Post in Progress

OIG Hotline, the letter I received this morning from Aura Flagstaff, included below, has been accompanied by apparent xxx threats of extensive harm to my apartment #162 at 151 W High Country Trail, Flagstaff, AZ 86005. These have included apparently resulting threats of arrest toward me, invasion of my hotel room(s), my vehicle(s), and my homes, along with further threats of xxx harm toward my family members, my pets, my property, and my own safety and wellbeing.

Remarkably, the xxx has appeared to suggest this morning that I should "delay" any and all upcoming meetings to discuss issues of concern for the country as a whole. Somehow, I am not inclined to accede to that request.

Please consider this communication a complaint regarding the xxx's trespass and harm of my residence in Flagstaff, Arizona and my belongings there.

For the record, I have my jewelry there, so it is not as though I can walk away from all of my belongings in that residence and never see them again.

Further, I need to point out that I established this temporary residence in Flagstaff at significant effort and expense, only to have my safety and security at Aura Flagstaff repeatedly and unconscionably assailed, with Aura management accepting pay for the privilege.
