My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Documentation of a Family Outing

OIG Hotline, my husband and older son met my younger son, Duncan, for brunch at Stacks restaurant in Menlo Park at 11:30 a.m. today.

Due to the fact that the FBI is allegedly still pressuring Duncan to file false witness statements regarding perfectly normal family gatherings such as this one, my husband is audio-recording all conversation connected to this event.

This recording can be made available to investigators upon request.

Clearly, in order for our family to return to normal in the long run, the FBI needs to be formally and permanently escorted out of our private gatherings and conversations.

Corrupt members of federal law enforcement have no business harming, harassing, and dividing loving American families, whether they be the families of Democrats, the families of journalists, or otherwise.

No aspect of corrupt law enforcement's perpetration of such crimes renders our nation safer or more secure.

If my son's far right FBI handler feels differently, he is going to have to explain his reasoning in aggressively and repeatedly violating my family's Constitutional rights.

I don't think that justification exists, but I look forward to hearing him give it a public try, nonetheless.

I think my son's FBI handler has knowingly violated his oath to protect the Constitution.

Ultimately, the facts of his actions will declare the extent to which my son's FBI handler has read the Constitution he promised to uphold, and beyond this, whether he understood it.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.
