My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Two Important New Emails for the OIG Hotline, November 7, 2024 8:37 PM

OIG Hotline, the FBI seems to convey that the content in my most recent email sent to your attention is urgent.  The subject heading is ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re: Disallowing and Disqualifying New Threats of Knowingly Falsified Law Enforcement Reporting Intended to Harm My Family, November 7, 2024, sent at 7:14 PM on November 7, 2024 within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com.

Apparently, one of my family members is at risk or the FBI would not be extending the allegation that this is the case.  My husband is at home with me, so that leaves my sons and MX at the moment.

I will follow up when my husband and I have established verified contact with all of them.

In the meantime, thank you for accessing the above email as soon as possible.

A second email was sent to your attention within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com at 8:37 PM, bearing the subject heading ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re: Let's Ask the Public, November 7, 2024.

Most respectfully,

Lane MacWilliams
