My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Has the FBI Timed Its Latest Prevarication to Coincide with a Power Outage?

OIG Hotline, please be apprised that we have experienced a PG&E power outage at my Portola Valley residence since 9:09 AM on February 13, 2025.

I am currently writing this blog entry from my older son's apartment.

The FBI appears to allege an intensified effort to extend knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting concerning my family members and myself to correspond with this outage, with apparent suggestions that my younger son's testimony has been falsified to coincide with his leaving the country.

My older son has again attested truthfully this evening, February 13, 2025 at 11:00 PM, to our family's honor and lawfulness , as shown below.

If the FBI has been found to have committed crimes of knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting regarding my family residence on Cape Cod, or other crimes relating to that property, or parallel crimes of malfeasance and false reporting at our Portola Valley residence, I would respectfully request immediate outreach from OIG Hotline investigators and/or attorneys.

Certainly, the agency cannot be allowed to persist in a false narrative of blame toward my family members and myself, but rather, must be severely reprimanded, with charges to be evaluated in consultation with my family members and myself.

Thank you to President Trump for insisting on fealty to the truth of this case.

And thank you to Congress, the Attorney General, and the OIG Hotline for doing the same.
