My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

An Open Letter Requesting the Freedom of My CPA to Do Her Job

Dear President Trump and Elon Musk:

Please allow my tax accountant JoAnn Chow of Chow and Uoyang to file the 1099s issued in my father's name, together with my Fidelity documentation and an explanation from her, with the appropriate forms.

In the absence of this, the IRS can wrongfully accuse and convict me of tax evasion, with an aim of misappropriating funds awarded in my name through the OIG Hotline and the ODNI.

Sirs, I am no felon.  I am no criminal.  I am no tax cheat.  I am no miscreant.

Quite the contrary.  It is my character and integrity that have allowed my case to be brought before the Supreme Court, where I have in every case prevailed against a corrupt FBI.

The FBI should not now be enabled to steal from its victims through this tax corruption scheme.

Please untie the hands of my CPA JoAnn Chow and allow her to do her job, complying in every way with the highest professional ethical standards of her profession.

It is April 15, 2025, and JoAnn Chow has sufficient time to file my taxes with honor and integrity, as I have asked her to do.

Mr. President, Mr. Musk, thank you for ensuring that she does so.

Sincerely yours,

Lane MacWilliams
