My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

A Request for Intervention Re: Our Shared and Sovereign Future

OIG Hotline, there is an allegation that an explosive device was placed within my second rental vehicle in two days, under the driver's seat, yesterday afternoon while I was shopping for sundries within Longs Drugs in Squamish, British Columbia.

When I returned to my vehicle, there was evidence that it had been entered during my fifteen minute absence, as four or five dashboard controls had been altered.

Additionally, there was a municipal project in Whistler on Highway 99 yesterday morning, which allegedly involved the placement of explosives within a rock face overlooking southbound traffic, high enough to place both sides of the highway at risk of falling boulders and debris in the event of "landslide."

Both explosions, timed concurrently, could lead to an event with a 100 percent chance of fatality for me.

So, I need a spotlight on this issue, unfortunately.

Most pressingly, I need President Trump, CIA Director Ratcliffe, and FBI Director Patel, together with the United States Congress, to insist on the withdrawal of any and all directives to cause me harm and/or to cause harm to my loved ones.

It is my honor, my integrity, and my personal gifts that have allowed me to endure for eight years in the role of advocate for the American people, and, indeed, for all who love freedom.

If the long term sovereignty of our nation can ultimately flourish, it will be because of those who have had the courage, as my family has, to stand for what is right, and benevolent, and virtuous, and honorable and worthy against seemingly impossible odds.

I need the consensus of all who love our nation to be able to survive this ordeal and begin to make the meaningful difference to the future that is clearly intended.

So I thank our government officials in advance for their intervention on my behalf and that of my loved ones.

It is an astonishing realization that the legacies that last are the ones we ourselves write, often out of the public view, when no one is watching, and our courage is a private and heartfelt matter, seemingly concealed from the assessment of others.

Later, we may be surprised by the power and insistence of those private decisions, by their importance to others, and by their transformative potential.

The truth has a will, certainly, and that will has a life that cannot be diminished by time or weather or forgetting.

We as human beings reaffirm our worthiness when we stand for our highest principles, our deepest bonds, our most profound encounters with our souls' mysterious territory.  Ultimately, our love for one another cannot be replaced, feigned, duplicated, mimicked, performed, defamed or criminalized through AI aggregation.

Our human dignity will not be undone, and nor will the lives that most brightly illuminate it, as long as we remember our commitments to one another as promises that cannot be broken.

In this spirit, I ask for your efforts on my behalf and that of my family, so that I, in turn, may support our shared and sovereign future.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
