My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Confirmations of Successful Fax Transmissions to OIG Hotline Investigations Division and CPUC, Consumer Affairs Branch

OIG Hotline, I was obstructed in my attempts to connect to Wifi all day today, Thursday, March 23, 2023.  Only a few moments ago, at approximately 10:30 PM was I able to access my gmail and blog for the first time.

This morning at 8:39 AM and 8:47 AM, I faxed two complaints of seventeen pages each regarding separate utility companies from the UPS Store in Portola Valley to the California Public Utilities Commission, Consumer Affairs Branch.

At 8:56 AM and 9:05 AM, I faxed copies of those same complaints to your Office.

Confirmation of successful transmission of all of those communications follows below.

My foray to the UPS Store in Portola Valley represented the first time I have left my home in months due to the death threats I have received from FBI affiliates.

I wore a body cam during my outing, and I traveled home as soon as the faxes were complete.

My husband traveled home from San Diego today without incident.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.
