OIG Hotline, please be apprised of the following communications to Proof.com and Notarize.com, which appear to be twin companies, concerning recent allegations of fake receipts provided for my husband's and my notarization processes through Proof.com. It has been alleged to me that the FBI has directed the provision of fake receipts with the intent of ignoring our current affidavits so as to falsely justify a law enforcement raid on our home, as well as to later invalidate our documents when it is shown that Proof.com did not receive payment.
Our receipts are now being provided from Notarize.com, which represents a change from previous procedure, although our notarization process takes place on the Proof.com online site. As well, we are no longer being asked to input our credit card data upon completion of Jurat notarization. Instead, we receive an automatic billing sent to our email accounts, originating from Notarize.com.
