OIG Hotline, please be apprised that I completed an ostensible survey from Ameripac using the following link on my cell phone ending in 1467: bit.ly/3tuCCTe.
After I submitted the survey, I received a warning that my answers may have been falsified without my participation or consent.
My actual answers, in addition to a screenshot of the survey link and the receipt of my donation to Ameripac, can be found within an email directed to the attention of the OIG Hotline within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com, lmacwilliams77419@gmail.com and lmacwilliams7417@gmail.com, bearing the subject heading ATTN: OIG HOTLINE Re: Allegedly Corrupted Ameripac Survey; sent at 7:38 AM.
Clearly, if AI were being deployed to alter the answers of political survey respondents online, this would represent a serious matter.
Altered survey data could have substantive impacts on the political campaigns of all candidates who oppose the far right, so the challenge to our democratic processes, should such corruption be occurring, would be substantive.
Perhaps this instance, assessed by your Office, can help to assess whether such tampering with critical data is occurring.
Thank you for allowing me to document these concerns.
Most sincerely,
Lane MacWilliams
