My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Did President Trump Authorize the Dissemination of a Dangerous, Resistant Fungal Infection with an Intent to Profiteer?

OIG Hotline, the FBI appears to allege that President Trump authorized the dissemination of a dangerous fungal infection through spores distributed by the Flagstaff Veterinary Hospital last week, which allegedly mopped a room with a liquid contaminant at FBI directive immediately prior to my entry with my pets.

At this point, my dog Birdie appears to have contracted the infection on one paw.

The Flagstaff Veterinary Hospital is unresponsive to my email queries for more information regarding this incident.

For background, I signed no liability waiver during this medical visit, and the Flagstaff Veterinary Hospital is fully responsible for this infection.  Because I received FBI threats of its conveyance immediately following my visit, I wrote to the Flagstaff Veterinary Hospital right away about this matter, without waiting for a problem to develop.

Now, the FBI appears to state that this fungal infection is resistant to all treatment, that it leads to amputation and death for many, that it is an issue for my entire apartment complex and community, and that it will be a matter for the Department of Agriculture to investigate.

I have a better idea, which is that President Trump should authorize the reversal of this harm.

Further, he should withdraw the FBI's false accusations of criminal activity on my part or on the part of my family members.

Beyond this, he should withdraw any and all plans to steal funds awarded to me on behalf of the long term preservation of Americans' human rights.  All attempts to hack, freeze, and invade my accounts should be halted immediately.

OIG Hotline, contempt for the public on the part of a top elected official is a matter the American people will indeed view with seriousness and rigor.

The public trust is not won in a single election.  Rather it is earned and re-earned through worthy and honorable efforts on the part of those privileged with its vestiture.

In the face of predatory, deceitful, or dishonorable leadership, it can be withdrawn entirely.

This may be an appropriate moment for the FBI and its close affiliates to reflect on that timeless truth.

I will be updating your Office and the public regularly regarding this matter.

For your information, I am now being prevented from uploading photographs to this blog.

In the public interest, I would respectfully request that that capacity be immediately restored.

Thank you for allowing me to document this serious concern.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
