My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

FBI Threats of "Eviction" Without Cause

OIG Hotline, please be informed of my communication, below, with Kas of Aura Flagstaff for your reference.

Please note that this issue appears to accompany FBI threats of "eviction" without cause.

It may be that the FBI is attempting to change the terms of the lease to absolve Aura of any liability for harm that might occur to me while being an Aura resident.  The FBI often sets to work on revising legal agreements to release all liability for harm up to and including first degree murder.

Further, perhaps the FBI feels emboldened in knowing that the Arizona Attorney General's Office has elected not to protect me from housing discrimination and attendant harm.

I will provide your Office with all updates regarding this matter.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

Email sent to Kas of Aura Flagstaff at 9:01 PM on April 29, 2026:

Kas, do you recall that, on April 24th, while we were working together on lease materials in your office, I asked you to correct the spelling of my last name from Macwilliams to MacWilliams, with a capital W?

I wanted to be certain that the lease was valid with the correct spelling of my name, so I did not complete the signing of the first version you emailed to me, but rather the second.

Is this your clear understanding?  It certainly is mine.  (Please be aware that because of my human rights advocacy, I need to record my interactions out and about in the wider world; so we do actually have objective documentation to reference should there be any confusion on this point whatsoever.)

I am concerned because now my account within Bilt is misspelled to Macwilliams, whereas it as correctly spelled as MacWilliams previously.

In addition, the second email you sent to me with the link to the lease marked with the correct spelling of my last name, MacWilliams, has apparently been deleted from my gmail account.

(Sometimes these things happen, but the fact that Krystal is now asking me spontaneously to re-sign the lease for Aura with a different spelling of my last name is deeply concerning.  I am not informed as to whether there have been any changes made to the lease documents I signed on the 24th.)

I think the best thing for us to do is to start with our shared recollection of events on the 24th.  Once we have established a mutual recollection of those facts, perhaps you would be so kind as to re-forward the second email you sent to me with the correct spelling of my last name.

From there, we can establish what exactly has gone missing with regard to my original documentation and attempt to locate it appropriately.

Thank you for your support with this matter.  I do realize you are away and that your response may be delayed due to travels.  I hope you're finding your conference productive and enjoyable!

Kind regards,

Lane MacWilliams
