To Ambassador Hillman and the Canadian Human Rights Commission:
The FBI appears to be obstructing my access to legal representation through Legal Aid BC through directing the DOJ, and specifically Attorney General Pam Bondi, to contact this organization with a statement that my case represents a "national security concern."
I do not believe that the profiteering of certain elected officials from financial awards extended in my name under the auspices of the Office of the Inspector General Hotline of the U.S. DOJ pertaining to FBI misconduct constitutes a national security matter, at least not as described by the Attorney General's staff.
Rather, I believe that knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting against an FBI whistleblower, including the coercion of false statements from friends and family about her character and integrity, constitutes a threat to the long term human rights of Americans and Americans' close neighbors, both.
I have asked the FBI to allow me to retain an attorney as assigned by Legal Aid BC in order that confidential dialogue regarding my concerns over the preservation of long term human rights may appropriately commence.
Please assist me in contacting Legal Aid BC to convey your support for my legal representation through their necessary and invaluable referral.
Every private attorney I have contacted about this matter finds himself or herself threatened by the FBI or its affiliates, unable to serve as advocate and counsel.
An attorney provided by Legal Aid BC will be able to contact the Office of the Inspector General Hotline with a request for documentation of this Office's investigative efforts regarding this case, allowing me to see the truth of the FBI's misconduct toward my family members and myself for the first time.
The OIG Hotline is apparently not permitted to release this material except to an attorney who is representing me, so Legal Aid BC stands as an invaluable and irreplaceable ally.
Legal Aid BC staff have disclosed that Attorney Chris Gihirardi is currently evaluating my case as part of the "appeals team," assessing whether a referral to an attorney can be made.
Right now, the FBI appears to have directed Mr. Gihirardi to demand the 55 pages (mostly redacted) provided to me at ODNI insistence on CD in the past. This CD record appears to have been stolen by FBI affiliates from my hotel room while I have been residing in Whistler, BC. The documentation demonstrates that a corrupt Sheriff's Deputy, Rick Chaput, who took a stalking report from my husband and me in 2019, proceeded to refer me, without cause, justification, or notification to me or to my family, to Adult Protective Services, as if I could not engage in self-care. This act effectively consigned my entire family to continuous surveillance, allegedly "for my own safety and security." (Please see my correspondence with San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus, below, to which I have had no reply.)
The FBI has suggested that this approach is well-practiced by the agency, alleging that this was the method of falsifying victim statements of the USA gymnasts. According to this scheme, the complainants were all mentally imbalanced, making "no logical sense," allowing predator Larry Nassar to continue to abuse these young women and girls without accountability for a prolonged period of time.
At issue is whether the United States has the right to interfere with Canadian Legal Aid organizations and those vulnerable populations they heroically and necessarily serve.
The long term human rights for which I am advocating include the right of a woman not to have corrupt law enforcement agencies distribute AI-generated films bearing her likeness to depict her in sexual or violent acts. They include the right of a human rights advocate not to have her sons targeted, trafficked and tortured in retaliation for her support for the long term human rights of others. They address the necessity of free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, right to privacy and right to own private property as fundamentals without which human society cannot peaceably endure.
Please assist me in asking Legal Aid BC to provide me with an attorney, so that the OIG Hotline's investigative record will be provided to me in its entirety.
I am assuming that OIG Hotline cannot itself contact Legal Aid BC, due to reports of Attorney General Pam Bondi's involvement in this matter.
Canada, however, is a sovereign nation, unbound by the corruption of American officials. And in the interests of Canadians' long term sovereignty, which may well be affected by this matter, I respectfully ask for your support in reaching out to Legal Aid BC on my behalf.
Thank you very much for your advocacy regarding this critical concern.
Most sincerely,
Lane MacWilliams
