My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Documentation of Apparent Remote 911-Dial By Pegasus-hacked Cell Phone

This is to document the fact that my cell phone (415) 963-1467, which has apparently sustained a Pegasus hack, appeared to place an emergency call to 911 without my initiative this morning at approximately 9:10 a.m.  Following this event, the phone appeared to be frozen, and it remains so at this time.

I called my husband from my landline (650) 851-1025 immediately following this event and requested that he call the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office dispatch to confirm that no emergency had transpired.  He did so, and called me back on our landline (650) 851-1081 to let me know that he had received reassurance from the SMC Sheriff's Office that law enforcement responders were not being dispatched to our residence.

Clearly, there are serious risks to safety in circumstances such as these, which appear to involve a Pegasus-hacked cell phone being controlled by a third party to effect an emergency dial connected to the residence of a law enforcement whistleblower.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.
