My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Library of Congress: A Conduit for FBI Defamation?

September 5, 2022

OIG Hotline, my stalker informs me that Library of Congress clerks have again been coerced to place defamatory film(s) and other information intended to discredit me within the Library's auspices.

I regret that I do not possess the necessary means of assessing the likelihood of those crimes.

Please assist me in insisting that all defamatory information concerning me be removed from public access.

If FBI Director Christopher Wray and individual FBI personnel and affiliates have committed these crimes, they are wholly and separately liable to me for these defamations.

Have the far right elements within the FBI become nothing more than liars, pornographers, and lackeys for Vladimir Putin?

The question must be asked, and that requirement, in and of itself, is an astonishing indictment of the FBI's leadership.

I have had ONE LIFETIME INTIMATE PARTNER, MY HUSBAND OF 32 YEARS.

Yet, the FBI still finds a way to turn that fact into something condemnatory?  Far-right FBI personnel still feel justified in invading my private bedroom and filming and distributing my private intimacy with a beloved spouse?

I am going to say as gently as I possibly can that women are human beings.  The FBI should not be classifying them as "targets of interest" for no other reason than that unbalanced men may have a salacious interest in their sex lives.

This is insupportable behavior on the part of what is meant to me an honorable federal law enforcement agency.

I do not believe the American public will feel sanguine about the flagrant, repeated and ongoing privacy violations in which the FBI has engaged toward my family for the express purpose of facilitating further unwarranted predations.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams

************************************************************************************

OIG Hotline, the names under which the FBI's defamatory information might appear could extend to the following:  Lane MacWilliams, Lane von Herzen, Carol Elaine Von Herzen, or any misspellings or combinations of the above.  An insurance company recently misspelled my family name as "VonHerzon," for example. At times, the name "von Herzen" or "Von Herzen" is spelled wrongly without a space, as in "vonHerzen" or "VonHerzen."
