My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

The FBI's "Target of Interest" Program: A Political Tool Wielded by the Extreme Right

The text that follows herewith is an excerpted post on a few of the details of the FBI's "target of interest" program as it is perpetrated at the local level from "Tony Curtis" on Quora.

Most Gangstalking is organized by your local Police Department, and managed through the federally funded Fusion Center network now prevalent in virtually every large American city. Ostensibly, Fusion Centers were created to “fuse” and share information concerning possible terrorist acts and other major crimes. But the sad reality is that they’re now being used to commit state sponsored violence against selected American citizens. The criteria for being targeted — if there is one — is secret. And once targeted, there is no legal recourse for facing your accusers or to contest the allegations. The victims are then subject to an onslaught of malicious and criminal attacks —-constant surveillance, home vandalism, vehicle sabotage, bank account hacking, street theatre, etc, etc. The tactics and techniques have been honed over time to be effective at harassing citizens while remaining hard to prove.

Sadly, massive amounts of federal funding, secretive authorities, cutting edge technology, and high-level political support have all combined to turn the US Law Enforcement community into the largest organized crime syndicate in American history.

Mr. Curtis refers to overlap between U.S. law enforcement and organized crime in his conclusion.  I have seen references to these ties elsewhere, including on the part of my stalker, who refers to payoffs to local law enforcement as "paying the ferryman."

Certainly, it is necessary to emphasize that there are law enforcement officers at the local level who possess honesty and integrity, just as there are FBI agents who take their vows to the Constitution with the utmost seriousness.

The Capitol Police defended members of Congress with great courage and determination on January 6, 2020.  Because of their protection of our duly elected representatives, the electoral vote count was certified as the founders had prescribed, and President Joseph R. Biden was formally declared the 46th President of the United States of America.

Most of us were singing Handel's Hallelujah Chorus in that auspicious moment.  I know I was.

Having said that, because totalitarian regimes typically rise to power with the help of law enforcement personnel, I think we need to be extremely concerned about Mr. Curtis' claims of a funded "system"  of  segments of extreme right law enforcement being in place, of which most Americans are entirely unaware.  Mr. Curtis calls this program "gangstalking," a reference to the Stasi's East German program of Zersetzung (see the link, below), though my stalker has claimed that this program is being applied by the FBI to several million law-abiding American citizens at a minimum.  How many law-abiding Democrats and journalists would need to be assailed in this manner in order for the extreme right to gain control of the American electorate?  Would several million be sufficient for such totalitarian objectives?

If the FBI, Fusion Centers and local police and sheriff's departments are empowered to harass and harm law-abiding "targets of interest" in a manner that effectively obviates the guaranteed civil liberties and human rights afforded to us by our Constitution, our democracy is in grave peril.

And when far right segments of the FBI believe that they can prey upon any member of the law-abiding American public with impunity, how will we hold them to account?

When law-abiding "targets of interest" are over-represented by Democrats and journalists, women and minorities, how are we to respond?

Can the FBI's engagement in knowingly falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives be exposed to the public at large before it becomes further entrenched?

I have to hope the answer is a resounding yes.
