OIG Hotline, please be apprised that there appears to be repeated third-party tampering with my online tax account connected to my family home on Cape Cod. Paid tax and utility bills, which have been labeled as "Closed" have been moved into the "Open Invoices" category.
This happened once before, and I was able to verify that all bills were paid by calling the Town Hall Collector's Office and recording the conversation.
On this particular occasion, today is a holiday, and Town Hall is closed.
In the meantime, FBI affiliates are actively threatening some combination of flooding and/or arson at my family home at 40 Gansett within the next 48 hours.
A late tax or utility bill would allow my home insurance company, MPIUA, a signator to Infragard, to cancel my policy -- a harm which has long been threatened by FBI affiliates as a means of forced divestment and impoverishment.
Perhaps my communicating this particular form of far right predation will prevent harm to my home from being perpetrated at this juncture.
Thank you for allowing me to document these concerns with your Office.
I hereby certify that the foregoing information is true and correct.
Most sincerely,
Lane MacWilliams

The FBI is a deeply divided agency. There are many FBI employees who view their vows to the Constitution with the utmost seriousness and honor, and who strive to defend the fundamentals of our democracy with courage, fortitude and commitment. The fact that some segments of the FBI appear to have embraced a lawless course is not a justification to assail the FBI in general. As President Joseph R. Biden has so rightly expressed, violence is never justified in any circumstance. The rule of law must always be honored and upheld. It is our shared determination to preserve the civil liberties and human rights of all Americans that renders the United States a democracy. We must never abandon this promise. All of our most cherished freedoms depend upon it.
