My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Documentation of Lane MacWilliams' Wifi Access, January 10, 2024

12:31 AM Signed onto Wifi GSQ3 in order to check blog and Amazon.

Emailed SMC County Elections Registrar with a request to correct an apparently new misspelling of my last name within this Office's records.

This is to confirm that all of my words, actions, and communications, online and elsewhere, continue to be honorable and law-abiding in every way, shape, and form.

I will plan to log off of Wifi GSQ3 with MacBook Air by 1:45 AM.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.

Lane MacWilliams

6:24 AM Signed onto Wifi GSQ3 with MacBook Air.

Joined DNC session at 11:00 AM.

Prepared affidavit for the OIG Hotline, and made its text available via email.  Subsequently rendered notification of this document's availability on my blog.

My notarization of my latest affidavit was broadly obstructed.  As a result, I needed to use both of my laptops, my MacBook Air and my MacBook Pro, in order to advance this process. Switching back and forth between both devices, and utilizing my cell phone for passport verification, I was able to connect with a notary in New York who provided a Jurat notarization process.

His side of the notarization recording was noisy, with banging on walls, background conversations and phones ringing.  That said, he did confirm more than once that all was quiet in my own environment.  He also confirmed that, from his perspective, everything about my side of the notarization was lawful and honorable.

I signed onto my MacBook Pro to assist with notarization access at 1:38 PM and signed off of my MacBook Pro at 2:38 PM.

I will be forwarding my audio file of this notarization process to the OIG Hotline shortly.

This is to confirm that all of my words, actions, and communications, online and elsewhere, continue to be honorable and law-abiding in every way, shape, and form.

I will plan to log off of Wifi GSQ3 with MacBook Air by 3:37 PM.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct.

Lane MacWilliams
