My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

When Good People Gather Together: A Reflection on February 14, 2024

1.  Has the FBI stopped preying upon your family as their crimes have become further illuminated?

Answer:  Unfortunately, no.  It seems the FBI has redoubled its perpetration of falsified law enforcement reporting, threats and assaults on our health and our property.

2.  What is your feeling about filing further affidavits to counter the FBI's ongoing false claims?

Answer:  If I had a personal notary documenting my actions day and night, I'm still not certain it would be enough.  There has to come a point at which the FBI acknowledges its crimes and agrees to stop.

3.  What if they don't stop?

Answer:  My feeling is that, at least in the short term, the agency should suffer steep financial penalties for defamation, sabotage of my car in the driveway, knowingly false reporting, coercion of false witness statements, etc.

4.  When was the last time you left the house?

Answer:  On February 3, 2024, to notarize an affidavit for the OIG Hotline.

5.  You haven't left the house since then?

Answer:  I have walked to the top of the driveway to pick up the New York Times and package deliveries from Amazon.  And that's all.

6.  You're quite worried about your family members' health at this time, due to the specific crimes the FBI has perpetrated against you.

Answer:  I am, yes.

7.  Do you feel as though your time is limited because of the FBI's crimes?

Answer:  The FBI has committed horrible crimes against my family, and the agency has not yet called us on the phone to offer to restore us to any form of good health.  So, I will say that I am deeply concerned by these atrocities, yes.  If you can only anticipate a few months of physical health or cognitive health, then goals must necessarily be pulled back.  That's not what anyone would want, but it's necessary to be realistic about the fact that the FBI is committing first-degree murder with impunity at this time.  The FBI and its affiliates feel entitled to assail the law-abiding American public in this manner, and they don't intend to be held accountable.

8.  What do you think the political reality is in Washington, D.C.?

Answer:  I think the far right has rendered the political reality a pitched battle.  They have repeatedly used defamation and disinformation as tools of autocracy, and the American electorate is not particularly informed about their stratagems.

9.  What do you think President Biden's experience must be like in the midst of this pitched battle against autocracy?

Answer:  Exceptionally difficult.  He ran for President in order to serve the nation, not as a path to his greater glory.  He deserves immense respect and honor for his leadership of the country through Covid, his guiding of the economy, his accomplishments with climate and infrastructure investments, his judicial appointments, his support of women's right to choose, on and on.  His guidance of the nation has been no less than stellar.

10.  You would like to thank President Biden for his defense of your efforts to illuminate the FBI's perpetration of falsified law enforcement reporting for anti-democratic objectives, in addition to the agency's perpetration of many related crimes.

Answer:  I would dearly appreciate the opportunity to thank him, yes.  He has demonstrated heroic courage over this issue.  I do know whereof I speak -- and the mettle required to stand strong against the FBI and its affiliates is immense -- superhuman, really.  President Biden possesses this, as does Vice President Harris.  Because of their courage, our freedoms have a chance to endure.

11.  Will you have a chance to see them endure?

Answer:  I don't know, but I hope our nation will -- and I hope many other nations will.  And if they do, I hope they will recognize President Biden as the man who made it possible.

12.  If his motorcade drove up to your door, what would you do?

Answer:  Honor him.  Thank him.  Ask him everything I could about his endeavors to answer the far right. Listen intently to every possibility for a peaceful unity to be reclaimed within our electorate.  I would make him a lovely cup of tea, or a hearty dinner -- and we would talk and talk.

13.  You sound as though he's your friend.

Answer:  He is.  President Biden is every American's friend, whether they know it or not.  Beyond this, he is the friend of all who love freedom the world over.

14.  What should happen to the far right factions of the FBI and its affiliates?

Answer:  The American people should have the opportunity to consider the actions of the FBI vis a vis the Constitution, and they should be asked to voice their opinions in the matter.

15.  If you could contribute one thing to November 2024, what would it be?

Answer:  The truth.  The American people need access to the truth in order to preserve democracy at the ballot box in November of 2024.  The truth is that the far right is engaged in a detailed plan to usurp the people's sovereignty.  President Biden is trying to preserve their rights in the face of that assault on their Constitutional freedoms.  So, quite simply, I would contribute the truth.

16.  There are times when you have found the FBI's defamation to be extremely discouraging.

Answer:  I think on one level we always expect liars to stop.  Once they've been caught, we always expect an apology, and remorse, and changed behavior.  But the "target of interest" program represents an entrenched system of false reporting and related harms perpetrated by the FBI, so to effect meaningful change will require long-term, high-level engagement.  That's merely one of the reasons why it's so critical that President Biden be re-elected in November.  He has the wisdom, the strength and the judgment to take this on.

He needs our support in that endeavor, however, and the American people must meet him in this task.

17.  You have said that the FBI should suffer hefty financial penalties for ongoing defamation.

Answer:  They should, absolutely.  The FBI is insensitive to punishment in general, but the agency is averse to public exposure and financial penalties.  So they should be answered with both when they violate the law.

18.  You believe that FBI agents should be subject to the rule of law, just like all American citizens.

Answer:  Our democracy will survive only if we decide that FBI agents are subject to the rule of law.

19.  The FBI appears to delight in demeaning good people.

Answer:  This is a psychopathic trait, unfortunately.  We need to be extremely concerned when we see it being expressed as an institutional phenomenon.

20.  Why?

Answer:  Because defamation of this kind is almost always accompanied by human atrocities.  History has shown us this link.  And that's one of the reasons why defamation is the public's signal to dig deeper into an organizations ethics, and especially regarding those programs which claim the right of secrecy.

21.  You feel it is understandable when good people become discouraged by the FBI's falsehoods.

Answer:  We're only human.  We need to allow ourselves to feel grief when we encounter institutional deceit.  So, yes, everyone has the right to feel upset by the FBI's crimes.

The antidote to this is found in coming together with those who are stalwart champions of the truth.  We need to work in loyal, dedicated teams who understand the very high stakes for the future freedoms of mankind.

22.  Who's on your team?

Answer:  President Joseph Robinette Biden.  Dr. Jill Biden.  Vice President Kamala Harris.  Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.  The OIG Hotline.  The Honorable Avril Haines of the ODNI.  Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.  Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.  House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.  Former President Obama.  Former First Lady Michelle Obama.  Former President Bill Clinton.  Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. California Governor Gavin Newsom.  The list goes on.

23.  You're proud of these leaders.

Answer:  Profoundly proud.  I want the American people to understand why.
