My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Amazon Delivery to Back Door of 45 Vista Verde Way, Portola Valley

OIG Hotline please be apprised that an Amazon delivery man brought the following package to our kitchen door at 4:30 PM today February 18, 2024.

It is notable that even with prior Amazon delivery trespass onto our property, all deliveries have gone to our front door.

This man appeared to know where to find my husband and myself in our home at the time of the delivery.

My husband accepted the package from this young man and thanked him.

Following that, he began to run up the incline of our driveway, while simultaneously craning his neck to see me standing next to my husband -- exhibiting a rather awkward over-curiosity in the process.

All was lawful and honorable within our home and on our property at the time of the Amazon delivery, as at al other times.

We would prefer not to have to document our lawfulness yet again in affidavit form due to possible false reporting coerced by the FBI from this delivery person.

With that goal in mind, we would appreciate your support.
