My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

"Zersetzung" as Perpetrated by Far Right Factions of the FBI

1.  How seriously do you take the FBI's threats to burn down your family home on Cape Cod?

Answer:  I take them seriously, because far right segments of the FBI have already caused so much tangible harm to my family.

2.  When the FBI contacts a plumber like Jeff Bell (508-946-9800), with whom your husband has been in recent contact at your request, what tends to happen?

Answer:  After being contacted by the FBI, contractors will suddenly become accusatory, obstructive, and dishonest.  That's why I attempt to record my communications with contractors in writing.  If they later make false statements at the direction of their handlers, it is then possible to go back and reference what was written down.

3.  Plumber Jeff Bell is now declining to service your home until next week due to FBI interference.  Plumber Ron Laurino of Panton Plumbing has endangered your home insurance policy due to FBI interference.  FBI affiliates are threatening to engage in arson at your home involving active FBI communications with the Falmouth Fire Department.  And LaTanzi, Spalding and Landreth, a law firm which has become signatory to Infragard, appears to be waiting in the wings to file suit against you on behalf of Brian Von Herzen once the plan unfolds.

Does this appear to you to be the very definition of "gangstalking," or "Zersetzung,"  terms which are sometimes applied to the FBI's unconstitutional "target of interest" program?

Answer:  Absolutely.  It does.  Many people are asked to play a seemingly minor role in what is, in this case,  a plan of forced property divestment.  But the results of the dishonesty and corruption in total can be devastating.

4.  Why did you ask your husband to assist in making calls regarding this matter?

Answer:  There seems to be a push right now on the part of the FBI to misreport the nature of phone conversations with me, so my husband's engagement is extremely helpful.

5.  The FBI is attempting to discredit you as unreasonable or illogical, as it does with all "targets of interest."

Answer:  This is my understanding.

6.  How do you feel about the possible loss of your home in light of your efforts as an FBI whistleblower?

Answer:  First, I need to say that I hope it doesn't happen.  But second, I need to express that, in order to stand as a whistleblower in a circumstance as extreme as this one, it's really necessary to try to detach from earthly belongings and worldly concerns.  The far right is going to come after you on every level that they can.  And the truth is that malevolent people working in groups can wreak havoc with the tangibles of your life.  But they can't access your spirit if you don't allow it.  And that's what they're after.

This is why I resonate so much with President Biden's words regarding the struggle for the soul of the nation.

Those who support autocracy want to diminish and darken the great spirit of the United States as a nation.

And we really need to resist that with a determination that will not fail or tire or succumb.  For me, that determination is based on my faith.

Material things are impermanent.  But faith endures.

7.  You don't mean to offend anyone with that statement,  I'm sure.

Answer:  Absolutely not.  I'm talking about our capacity for kindness, compassion, engagement, and honesty as much as I am referencing a faith in God.  Our democracy is actually dependent upon our willingness to stand up for one another's civil liberties and human rights as passionately as we would defend our own.  There's a benevolence and a generosity of spirit that is required for our democracy to endure.  And, while we can't demand that of other people, we can exemplify it ourselves.

8.  You have also mentioned that the FBI has allegedly pressured Weatherly Dorris to sabotage the chain of your mooring.  This sounds like a small matter, but there's a 25-year wait for moorings in your hometown.  So, if you lose your mooring, you lose your ability to sail altogether.

Answer:  That's true.  Again, there's only so much you can control.  My mooring is probably worth a few hundred thousand dollars to a "purchaser," although technically, moorings cannot be bought and sold.  FBI personnel have no doubt found a way to profit from my mooring's reassignment.

9.  Again, we see a pattern of far right segments of the FBI acting in ways that are indistinguishable from organized crime.

Answer:  Yes.  It is alleged that FBI personnel are rewarded for bringing money into a central profit-sharing pool from which certain senior personnel draw profits.  There appears to be a powerful push to privatize profit through schemes funded by the national treasury.

10.  Has the national treasury has been utilized by the FBI to perpetrate violations of the Constitution from which certain individuals within the agency personally profit?

Answer:  That is my understanding, but this question needs to be investigated thoroughly.

11.  What does it say about a nation when the private property of certain citizens is effectively appropriated for political objectives?

Answer:  Russia has been targeting the property of dissidents for a long time.  I'm sure the story is the same within China.  The only reason that far right segments of the FBI have been able to perpetrate these crimes within the United States is that they have been concealed as "secrets" connected to "national security."

The answer lies within publicly exposing these schemes, all of which are predicated on underlying falsified law enforcement reporting.

Those who are profiting from preying upon law-abiding American citizens are not so enthusiastic about being held publicly accountable for that malfeasance.

So, it's necessary to speak out.

12.  Members of the far right would prefer to silence whistleblowers in any manner they can.

Answer:  Yes, so we need to gather our courage and speak out about the fact that the far right is fundamentally a criminal enterprise.

13.  What do you hope for in this situation?

Answer:  I hope to defend the civil liberties and human rights of other Americans alongside my own, and in so doing, to defend the United States from those who prefer autocratic rule over and above governance by our duly elected representatives.

14.  Do you feel this is likely?

Answer:  My mother always used to tell me to dream big dreams.

The realization of big dreams is never likely, but if they are worthy dreams, our endeavors to realize them can ennoble and strengthen us.

Good people must never stop striving to defend those who cannot defend themselves.  Our human progress depends on our commitment to one another.

Is the exposure of the FBI's engagement in falsified law enforcement reporting likely?

No, but it's necessary for our democracy to endure.

So, it's a dream for which I will continue to dedicate everything I have.

The FBI is a deeply divided agency.  There are many FBI employees who view their vows to the Constitution with the utmost seriousness and honor, and who strive to defend the fundamentals of our democracy with courage, fortitude and commitment.  The fact that some segments of the FBI appear to have embraced a lawless course is not a justification to assail the FBI in general.  As President Joseph R. Biden has so rightly expressed, violence is never justified in any circumstance.  The rule of law must always be honored and upheld.  It is our shared determination to preserve the civil liberties and human rights of all Americans that renders the United States a democracy.  We must never abandon this promise. All of our most cherished freedoms depend upon it.
