My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

The Woodside Fire Protection District's Decommissioned Ambulance

OIG Hotline, please be aware that the Woodside Fire Protection District owns a decommissioned ambulance that is considered too old to be in active use.  This is the vehicle that has been stored off of Los Trancos Rd. in Portola Valley recently.

Fire Captain Sean Devlin should be able to account for the current location of this vehicle, along with its location over the last several weeks.

This decommissioned ambulance is the one I saw on March 27th, after what appeared to be an attempted staged car accident, with "Sarah Morrone," who formerly claimed to be a PG&E employee, stationed in position as witness.

Captain Devlin should be able to explain this vehicle's presence on Los Trancos Rd. that afternoon, as well as sharing with your Office all communications with FBI personnel relating to the dispatch and movements of that ambulance.  In addition, the driver and the contracted EMTs, one of whom I believe to be female, staffing that vehicle should be identified for your investigators.  Those individuals, in turn, should be willing to share with your Office all communications with FBI personnel relating to this matter, in addition to their employment details over the last severeal weeks.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
