My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

To Protect the Defenseless

1.  Your stalker, who is a paid FBI informant and a leading member of Russian-affiliated organized crime within the United States, has suggested that there is currently a "race" between the far right and those who are allied with the truth to communicate about you to various news organizations.

Answer:  Yes, he has.  He has suggested that far right FBI personnel have been showing journalists a defamatory film depicting my likeness.

2.  What source for this material has he alleged.

Answer:  He appears to have suggested that the Library of Congress is serving as a repository for the defamatory material, which I have never seen.

3.  The FBI appears to have defamed you in this manner for a long period of time.  Are you inured to the insult?

Answer:  Absolutely not.  No one is obligated to be a victim of the far right.  And no one should ever be asked to accept slander and defamation as perpetrated by far right factions of the FBI as normal, customary, or acceptable.  Slander and defamation are serious crimes.  Fox News, in recently extending a $787 million settlement to Dominion Voting Systems, found that our firsthand.

4.  Slander and defamation are central to the far right's other predations toward "targets of interest," isn't that right?

Answer:  Defamation is a prelude, accompaniment and postlude to other more profound harms.  And this has always been true of fascist movements throughout history.

In one sense, it's possible to see that far right factions of the FBI are contributing to an economic system of predation toward law-abiding Americans who have been wrongfully designated "targets of interest."

But unfortunately, some of the elements of the program appear to be gratuitously cruel and harmful beyond remedy.

5.  What is the "economic system" to which you are referring?

Answer:  The "target of interest" program, the Phoenix Program, the Signature Reduction Program the "non-investigative subjects" program -- these are all overlapping initiatives in which perpetrators are paid for causing harm to law-abiding "targets."  There are requirements for "productivity" in other words.  There are quotes and goals, and the programs expand at least ten percent from one year to the next.

6.  Do totalitarian systems always have quotas of this kind?

Answer:  Quotas or territorial goals.  During World War II, policemen were paid to produce 5 Jews per day for transport from the Warsaw ghetto.  Later, they were required to produce ten Jews per day.  These are the details of a commoditization of real human beings -- a subordination of human dignity to a mechanistic protocol in which people are systematically deprived of their reputation, their property, their sovereignty and their lives in the name of some "greater good" the far right fails to specify.  But when we see nationalistic fervor and scapegoating in a political movement, history teaches us that there is cause for great concern.

7.  How does a conspiracy like this one remain hidden from the public view for so long?

Answer:  Fear.  Those who know about it are almost always too fearful to speak out, given the imminent threats that they could be targeted next.  The functionaries are expendable.  The whistleblowers up until now -- William Binney, J. Kirk Wiebe, Thomas Drake -- are punished severely.  So almost no one talks.

8.  And then there are financial payoffs extended to "informants" through Infragard -- to those who contribute to falsified law enforcement reporting for the FBI have a powerful incentive to continue.

Answer:  Yes, it appears that Infragard extends both cryptocurrency payments and barter/in-kind remuneration -- categories of comeensation that are hard to trace.

But it's necessary to reflect on the fact that these programs are being funded by the U.S. taxpayer.  The fact that they are designed to effect a takeover of the democracy without the knowledge of the electorate is astonishing.  We need to grasp the extent to which the public trust has been betrayed by far right factions of federal law enforcement and far right elements within the national security apparatus as well.

9. You have written about artificial intelligence recently on this blog.

Answer:  Yes, I have.

10.  But there appears to be someone piggybacking on your Wifi with the identifier AI-THINKER_4FF7F7.

Answer:  I noticed that for the first time today.  My Wifi is GSQ3, which shows the checkmark

11.  AI-THINKER_4FF7F7 is not you?

Answer:  Absolutely not.

12.  Is the person who is impersonating you by co-opting your Wifi a near neighbor?

Answer:  By definition.  Yes.  This is someone close to my house.

13.  Does this make you feel unsafe?

Answer:  This is an unsafe situation, to be certain.  The proximity of those who are almost certainly FBI affiliates perpetrating this type of online impersonation immediately raises the questions of other harms these individuals may be committing.

14.  What will allow this story to be told best?

Answer:  Ideally, the perpetrators of these crimes among far right factions of the FBI and its affiliates will not be shaping the narrative in an attempt to deflect blame onto the innocent.  Law-abiding "targets of interest" need to speak for themselves in claiming their virtue, their character, their integrity, and their courage.

15.  You have repeatedly stated that it is critical not to cast aspersions on all FBI personnel, despite the extensive harms that the agency has perpetrated against you and your family.

Answer:  I feel confident that there are many people of high integrity within the FBI -- those who take the greatest possible care to uphold the Constitution for all Americans.

Ultimately, we need to remember that people are individuals.  The ethical, moral, and professional choices that they make reflect upon them individually.

The desire among whistleblowers to protect the defenseless cannot be written off as accidental virtue.  The harms perpetrated through falsified law enforcement reporting cannot bee written off as "just following the orders of a superior."

The actions of every FBI employee and affiliate are consequential in the life of the nation.

16.  You are grateful to those who have enabled you to articulate the plight of law-abiding "targets of interest" as critical to the future of our democracy.  Who are those people?

Answer:  They are those who, like me, believe that the truth cannot be separated from the democracy it serves.  OIG Hotline investigators, the ODNI leadership, and President Biden himself.  These people are standing for the democracy in heroic and as-yet-unsung ways -- and they are extending a monumental effort to protect the civil liberties and human rights of the American people against this "insider threat" posed by the far right within the FBI and affiliated agencies.

17.  Would Republicans be horrified to know what the far right has been doing under color of law?

Answer:  Would human beings be horrified to learn of civil rights abuses that, in some cases, constitute heinous crimes against the innocent?  Our response to this situation is a measure of our humanity, our compassion, our integrity, and our conscience.  We want to be sure we show up to address this problem with all of those qualities in our possession.  Because that's what the historical moment requires of us.

18.  Will you be believed, despite the far right working overtime to discredit your truthful testament?

Answer:  My task is to speak with thoughtfulness, insight, sensitivity, compassion, honesty, and good faith in discussing these events.  Truth and integrity tend to outlast disinformation and propaganda.  I believe I have the fortitude to express this insider threat in a manner that will serve to defend the democracy from those on the far right who would prefer autocratic governance.

19.  The FBI has 36,000 employees and you are only one person.

Answer:  But I am a genuine person.  I am an articulate person.  I am an indefatigable person.  I am a compassionate person.  I am a principled person.

And I have a wonderful President who has ensured that I do not stand alone.

20.  Do you hereby certify that the foregoing is true and correct?

Answer:  I do.
