My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Petition for Injunctive Relief #21 Pertaining to Poor Air Quality

OIG Hotline, please see my full request for injunctive relief pertaining to clean air within my residence and those residences of my family members, sent to your attention within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com at 2:42 PM today, October 9, 2024.  It appears that the FBI may have chosen to render my air quality excellent for exactly the period of time that matters were being actively heard before the Court, only returning to damaging air quality afterwards.  I hope that this matter can still be adequately addressed with your advocacy, as there is no question that we are continuing to suffer from this environmental harm.

I did not feel I could ethically put forward an urgent request for injunctive relief when my air quality had returned to its normal excellent status.  However, this does appear to have represented calculated timing on the part of the FBI.

Thank you very much for your advocacy on this point.

Most respectfully,

Lane MacWilliams
