My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

New Communications for the OIG Hotline

OIG Hotline, please see emails sent to your attention within lanemacwilliams@gmail.com at 10:47 AM, 11:57 AM, 2:37 PM and 2:40 PM today, October 18, 2024.

I will be adding my documentation of my Wifi access on my MacBook Air shortly.

Thank you for accessing this documentation at your earliest opportunity.

I have had text communication with my husband and he will be returning home quite soon.

Thank you to all for your advocacy regarding his safety and well-being today, and specifically any and all investigators of the OIG Hotline who heroically supported him, any members of the White House staff who ensured his well-being, any members of the High Court who chose to support my family's safety, and any members of Congress who expressed their ongoing support for our family's health and future.  I have no doubt there are courageous others as well.

Thank you for making the difference.

In gratitude for your presence at this time, as always,

Lane MacWilliams
