My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Missing Emails

OIG Hotline, when I checked to verify the availability of my Signed Statement for the day, as well as that of my husband, both of these emails had been removed from my email log within lanemacwiliams@gmail.com.  As a result, I have re-forwarded these documents to your attention at 12:28 PM and 12:31 PM today, October 23, 2024.

It would appear that the FBI feels comfortable in engaging in flagrant obstruction of justice when it cannot win a case based on the merits.

I have to wonder how many other emails sent to your attention were deleted as well.

This process requires open communication with my representation, clearly.

In the absence of that, the FBI will simply tamper with documents that implicate it of crimes for which it does not wish to be held to account.  And the American people cannot prevail in that circumstance.

The FBI appears to have no shame surrounding its lawbreaking, only shame over getting caught.

I find this circumstance quite distressing, given the agency's ongoing abuses and predations toward my family.

I will be endeavoring at this time to ascertain which other communications may be missing.

Most sincerely,

Lane MacWilliams
