My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Response from Act Blue: A Serious Matter

OIG Hotline, I find the response from ActBlue, included below, to strain credulity beyond all reasonable measure.

Please note that this communication was also forwarded to your Office within my gmail account lanemacwilliams@gmail.com, sent at 3:28 PM on October 23, 2024.

I think ActBlue knows perfectly well that it participated in an unlawful scheme to wrongfully implicate me of malfeasance of some kind.  Who directed ActBlue in this regard?  Almost certainly the FBI as authorized by the President.

These acts are unlawful, predatory, unethical and unacceptable to any civil society, in my opinion.

Those who participated in this scheme should be investigated to the fullest extent of the law, and any forged communications should result in charges being brought.

I wish to emphasize once more that the FBI appears to claim that its intent with this ruse was to take my life during wrongful arrest.

If this admission is accurate, then this scheme did not merely constitute falsified law enforcement reporting, but also attempted first-degree murder.

So this is a serious matter, and one I do not believe investigators should allow to pass without identifying those responsible.

Most respectfully,

Lane MacWilliams
