My Third Novel's Conclusion, My Heartbreak

My heart begins to break when I think about completing this particular book -- because this narrative has sustained me like no other story I've known. It's both more personal and more universal than my other works. But beyond memory and archetype, it's a cri-de-coeur about needing to become the person one is destined to be. And in the writing, I have met my own life's work, my own fated journey -- having the sense all the while that the pages are suffused with a resonance, an energy, an electrified field that defies explanation. Writers hope and pray to be overtaken by a work in this way -- to be conscripted into passionate service of a profound story. To experience it even once in a lifetime seems a great privilege. I still have several months before this novel is complete, and this constitutes my reprieve. Because I'm not ready for the beauty to end.

Update: Striving for Safety and Security as an FBI Whistleblower

Update:  Please note that my response to Question #12, regarding incoming threats to our family, has been updated, and will continue to be updated on this blog post for the time being.

Lane MacWilliams

************************************************************************************

1.  The last few days have been challenging.  Do you want to discuss the reasons for that?

Answer:  In a general way, I will just say that the slander and defamation that are so integral to the FBI's "target of interest" program appear to be intended to lead to more than character assassination.

2.  The FBI's slander and defamation of "targets of interest" are intended to justify physical harm of "targets."

Answer:  Unfortunately, that appears to be the case.

3.  You seem surprised.

Answer:  I don't think one should ever become inured to predation toward law-abiding citizens as perpetrated by those who wield the public trust under color of authority.

4. As the FBI does.

Answer:  As the FBI does, yes.  No matter how much a person may suspect a failure in character among individual FBI agents, it is somewhat more impactful to confront the systemic features of falsified law-enforcement reporting as they present within the FBI's "target of interest" program and the related Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative.

5.  How widespread are the falsifications, in your opinion?

Answer:  I think it's important to insist on a fact-based evaluation of that question.  I have been told that several million law-abiding American citizens are being unlawfully surveilled, harassed and harmed by the FBI and its affiliates, but the actual numbers should be verified, and as soon as possible.

6.  Why do you feel there is urgency regarding this matter?

Answer:  The FBI has enormous influence over the actions of local police departments and sheriffs' offices.  It's likely accurate to say that the directives of the FBI are viewed as mandates by local law enforcement.  So, if the FBI is directing unlawful initiatives on the part of local law enforcement, our communities are going to be negatively impacted right away.

7.  And those impacts could take what form?

Answer:  Additional falsified law enforcement reporting.  False arrests.  Violent arrests.  There's no limit, really.

8.  Do you believe that the FBI also holds sway over certain organized crime groups within the United States?

Answer:  I believe that there is active, ongoing communication between the FBI and Russian-affiliated organized crime within the United States.

9.  Why do you say that?

Answer:  Because my stalker, who is a leading member of Russian-affiliated organized crime within the U.S., appears to be exerting tremendous influence over certain segments of the FBI.

10.  Is there hard evidence of that influence?

Answer:  I believe there is hard evidence, yes.

11.  What are the most serious threats you are receiving at this time?

Answer:  Threats of a break-in at my home by Russian-affiliated "removal men," as described in my post "Current Threats to the MacWilliams Family," dated October 7th.

12.  What other threats are you receiving at this time?

Answer:  Kidnapping, staged car accident, sniper assault, violent street crime, DEW assault through devices unlawfully placed within our home, DEW assault through a device deployed at our neighbor's property, ongoing slander and defamation, arson and/or flooding followed by cancellation of home insurance, HAARP assault, violent law enforcement raid,  violent law enforcement traffic stop, false charges and false arrest toward our sons, fraudulent lawsuits filed by neighbors and/or tenants, forced drug overdose administration made to appear as suicide, acid thrown in the face, poison gas filtered into our bedrooms at night, on and on.

13.  Just to be perfectly clear, neither you nor any member of your family are drug users.

Answer:  Just to be perfectly clear, we are not.

14.  Returning to the threat of a break in perpetrated by organized criminals at the direction of the FBI, are you concerned about your vulnerability, given that you do not feel confident in your ability to safely access emergency services through 911?

Answer:  No one can feel safe when the corruption within local law enforcement agencies has reached the point that confidence in secure access to emergency services is lost.

15.  But do you feel that you could defend your family and your home in an emergency situation?

Answer:  Yes.  My husband and I both possess the determination to defend our family in the face of trespassers who would wish to cause us harm.

16.  You are familiar with the California Castle Doctrine.

Answer:  We are.  But as a general statement, I will confidently assert that any harm that befalls my family members at this point, and I include Mary Grinnell in this designation, can be assumed to be caused by the FBI.

17.  Why do you say that?

Answer:  We are extremely fortunate to live in one of the safest neighborhoods within California. (Our son, who lives in San Francisco, also resides in an extremely safe neighborhood.) Unprompted, anonymous break-ins don't really happen here.  Our town has license plate cameras, so criminals are going to be caught, generally speaking.

18. Unless the FBI is guiding and protecting them.

Answer:  Exactly.

19.  Why do you feel the FBI is so motivated to cause harm to you at this time?

Answer:  The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting Initiative and the FBI's affiliated "target of interest" program draw billions in Congressional budget allocations per year.  The FBI has tremendous incentives to ensure that those dollar flows continue.  Anyone who stands as a whistleblower of corruption of these programs through falsified law enforcement reporting is at substantive risk.

20.  Then why have you chosen to take on this role?

Answer:  Our democracy requires it.  The civil liberties and human rights of all Americans require it.

21.  You believe that democracy cannot survive with a corrupt FBI.

Answer:  Precisely so.  It can't.  We need to care about the freedoms outlined by the Founding Fathers within our Constitution as urgently as they cared about them.  Because, ultimately, our neighbors' freedoms are our own.  If we cannot defend the rule of law for one another, we will also fail in defending it for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our children.  As President Biden has so rightly articulated, we stand at an inflection point in our democracy.  If we have sufficient character and integrity to insist on the rule of law, our nation may yet survive this challenge.  But that means I have to possess sufficient courage to articulate the FBI's malfeasance.

22.  And do you?

Answer:  Resolutely.  Determinedly.  Unwaveringly.  I do.

***********************************************************************************

At the end of my posts regarding the unlawful actions of far-right personnel within the FBI, I will be adding the following statement.  The FBI is a deeply divided agency.  There are many FBI employees who view their vows to the Constitution with the utmost seriousness and honor, and who strive to defend the fundamentals of our democracy with courage, fortitude and commitment.  The fact that some segments of the FBI appear to have embraced a lawless course is not a justification to assail the FBI in general.  The safety of FBI agents should be protected, just as the safety of the American citizenry should be protected.  As President Joseph R. Biden has so rightly expressed, violence is never justified in any circumstance.  The rule of law must always be honored and upheld.  It is our shared determination to preserve the civil liberties and human rights of ALL AMERICANS that renders the United States a democracy.  We must never abandon this promise.  All of our most cherished freedoms depend upon it.
